Walmart Pharmacy, Tyler TX

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. The old lady at the front is the only one who actually wants to work. Everyone else behind that counter is pure lazy. Pick up the pace if it’s busy, it’s common sense.

It is always such a hassle picking meds up and It’s very rare they have the meds needed in stock and when they do it feels like we are being interrogated on why our dr prescribed this medication. Some of the techs are nice and others not so much!
We have called ahead of time to see if they had medication in stock and within the same hour come to the store to drop off prescription and they don’t have it in stock
The prices are good but not worth the hassle anymore!

I just recently Got My medicine switched here and oh my god it’s the worst!
Literally took us HOURS to get my medication.

First it took us 30 minutes in line to be told we need to go to another window To do insurance which was odd when my other Walmart never did that because the doctor sent it in for us but for some reason We had to do insurance information at the drop off window which the lady Who told us to go to the other window rudely said it’s just “xxx” amount as if she was irritated by the fact we wanted to use my insurance to get my medication for free. I’m sorry I’m not made out of money and don’t want to spend “xxx” amount every month.

So we Wait at that window for another 30 minutes for the same lady who told us to go over there to come and input my insurance then told us it would be 20 minutes before they could give me my meds. Come back 20 minutes later to wait again for 30 minutes and still not even reach the front of the line. We decided to just leave and come back later. Came back later and it still took us 45 minutes to even get my medication!

I have never had an experience like this at a pharmacy until I switched to this one. I’d rather drive to the other location to speak to people who are Kind to me and Don’t take hours on end to get my medication to me.

The only reason I gave two stars is because there is a very sweet older lady at this location who was very helpful when she was there.

Love this pharmacy, everybody So caring. Everybody's so friendly always takes care of any problems or needs that I may have

So the pharmacy has a letter outside asking to call and they could have your prescription ready which is nice cuts down on time so I called and I have a prescription ready and it’s 855 they close at 9 o’clock I told the lady I am two minutes away And she tells me I have to wait till tomorrow so they close early I’m here by closing time which is 9 o’clock and it is 858 and I understand people want to go home but don’t have your time till not have it till 858 if that’s what you’re gonna do customer service has dramatically gone down hill

I have continuously had so many problems with the pharmacy at this Walmart. I moved to a different side of Tyler and this one is closer to my new house. They have told me so many things that I have later found out from the Walmart pharmacy on 450 Loop 323 are not true. First they told me that I had to call my doctor and have them resend my prescriptions to this Walmart to have them filled, when other Walmart pharmacies had told me that I can get them filled at any Walmart, I would just have to call and speak with someone before filling it on the app so they can pull it over. Then I came by to get a copy of my vaccines and they told me that since I didn’t get my shots there, I’d have to drive to the other Walmart and get copy. Thankfully, I called the other pharmacy and they said that it wasn’t true and that they should be able to pull it over. It took some convincing to get them to even give it to me. There has been multiple situations like these. It’s gotten the point where I would just rather drive all the way to the other Walmart instead of dealing with people who are rude and don’t want to help.
