Walmart Vision & Glasses, Arlington TX

My glasses were the wrong prescription. I complained to a associate working there within a week of getting my glasses. I was told they were the right prescription and there was nothing he could do about it. I am 73 years old on a fixed income so I used a magnifying glass to read for 1 year waiting for Medicare pay for another Dr visit. Turns out the glasses were the wrong prescription. I went back to Walmart Optical and told them what my Dr said. THE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING HE COULD DO BECAUSE IT WAS OVER 60 DAYS SINCE I BOUGHT THE GLASSES. He then said he would give me 25% off the lens to get a new pair. I would rate service 0 stars if that were an option.

I went last night to get some new frames and the sweet lady working helped me to try to find new frames to fit my my old lenses. They did not have any that would fit for my lenses, but she was so kind and sweet to help repair my old frames and put new nose pieces in where mine where missing. I can’t remember her name. She was very helpful and sweet and I was so happy when I left. I will definitely be back whenever I may need help again.

I PAID $300 TO GET MY EYES CHECKED FOR GLASSES AND CONTACTS AND I CAN'T EVEN USE BECAUSE ITS THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION! I HAVE TO TAKE MY GLASS OFF TO EVEN SEE ANYTHING UP CLOSE. I DONT BOTHER TO EVEN USE MY CONTACTS BECAUSE OF IT. WHEN I WENT BACK TO TELL HER SHE TELLS ME SHE CAN LOWER THE PRESCRIPTION, BUT NEVER ASKED TO SEE MY GLASSES TO CHECK THEM. AND THAT I MAY JUST NEED TRAIN MY EYES BECAUSE I WENT WITH NO GLASSES FOR TO LONG. IF YOU ASK ME, GOING TO THE DR TO GET YOUR EYES CHECKED IS JUST A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY!
WORST EYE DR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE! WAL MART MUST NOT DO A VERY GOOD PRE SCREEN ON THE PEOPLE THEY PARTNER WITH IN THE STORES.

I give the staff 5 stars because I were to deal with a customer like me (I usually don't complain) I'd lose patience fast. However for something you are going to need in order to see, it has to be perfect.

The first round of lenses were cut really badly with one of the lenses having that fractal/texture along the top where my post of sight was going to be. They were manageable at first, but then once it got dark the sense flares that the textures created made it really hard to see.

So, I went back and they ordered a new one. After a few days, the other lens was acting up as well. So they end up replacing that one as well. When I got the second replacement however, the line of sight was way lower (that and was cut differently because I didn't a spare to use while they sent the frame off) causing me get really dizzy. It was like seeing through a glass full of water on on one eye.

I actually could not drive back home, so I embarrassing went back for the 4th or 5th time and just asked for the other sense back which they obliged.

3 MONTHS LATER.that texture is all over both lenses along with a sticky/oily film that I cannot remove either with cleaners or eye glasses cloths.

Again, those guys were great. I also really like the frames that I got. Best place to get glasses for large headed folks like myself. The place they send the lenses to be made however is the WORST! For a brand name like Nikon, they sure did a poor job. I lost out on 250.and will be seeking another place to get some decent lenses on these frames.

Fast and friendly. Everyone was nice and my daughter got her glasses in only 2 days, can't beat that. Plus they were affordable and come with a 1 year warranty. I should have came here sooner.

Wonderful fast easy to point! Now picking frames was even more extremely easy fun ladies helped my self and husband both of us got attended to fast and they took their time. Lady with long nails is very honest if you have a hard time picking a Frame she will help and be honest definitely found my vision place!

Small World / Big Nails

Her name is Tootie.
She is the rudest most hostile person I have ever met. To add to the hostility and confrontational behavior. SHE IS SLOW. She chicken peck types with her awkward 6 inch nails. She tried arguing with me several times about nothing. I never dignified her with the fight she so clearly tried to egg from me. But hilarious because the next day I told the story to a friend who had a nearly identical experience with her. In fact she told my friends 13 year old daughter to shut up. I will never go back there again. Horrible service from the worst people. I mean, I know it's Wal-Mart. The bar isn't exactly set high. It's one thing to be ignored or receive poor service. It's another to be harassed and berated by strangers that you are trying to give money to. Just.unacceptable. I do not who hired this Tootie. But I seriously question their intelligence.
