I have had a very toxic complex custody situation going on for about 5 years. After going through 2 attorneys in the first 3.5 years literally getting nowhere and even being convinced by my own attorneys to comply with the toxic, controlling, lying, drug abusing, drug dealing other party, to do things like basically turn the eye and get over what’s going on and lower Child support, etc, etc. I got discouraged and thought all I could do is pray for my child’s wellbeing, physical safety, and mental health in a constant drug related issue.
At year 4 God put it on my heart that I needed to stand my ground for my child’s best interest and he would tell me when to make my move. 9 months later (current date) I felt him telling me it’s time, I was scared and unsure. I began researching hardcore and came across many many attorneys, but Walters and Gilbreath stood out profoundly. I was still hesitant on making a move. As a single parent Who has waisted a lot of money and emotional investment on attorneys who told me they would fight for my child as if they were their own it’s a scary choice to make on going down this road for a 3 time consecutively. The past 2 attorneys robbed me and slept good at night not having a care in the world.
Brian and Jake both stood out to me and are firm partners. Brian did an initial consultation and I actually felt understood for once and like he was addressing my case per detail and there are a lot of details. Thank you Brian! The next day I spoke to Jake who was also shocked at the details of my old cases from the Child support all the way to the drug issues.

A few day’s later I bit the bullet and retained Jake. Jake and Raya have been working my case and have done more for me than any other attorney has. With Jake and Raya, they actually care. They are very knowledgeable and Jake is precise. Raya doesn’t mess around and gets things done! They are so detailed, when they drafted my initial pleadings my jaw dropped. I had never had a legal team do what I hired them for and that is too common unfortunately! They have gone so far as to take action for me on my behalf, more than what I have asked for. They are actually working on doing what my child and I NEED! They aren’t cutting corners or doing the minimum. They are trying to get justice served for my child finally! This case has not finished yet, but I wanted to write a review because I am so grateful and impressed and I want to give others hope!
