The best liquor store in town! Family owned and you feel like family when you walk in (or drive thru).

Supposed to open at 10am waited for 20 minutes and still wasn't opened. They lost a lot of business that morning.

Nice little spot, that's close to home to get some liquor, the prices are reasonable, the lady that works there is very friendly and professional

Today was my first trip to this liquor store, and likely my last.
For some reason the lady behind the counter is still pushing a mask mandate. She was not rude nor pushy about the issue, but Texas is open.
Also, I used a pen that an unknown number of people have used to sign my receipt. She handles cash without gloves. Has no problem serving me at the drive thru if I'm not wearing a mask. I suggest you get your liquor from one of the many other liquor stores in town.

Ward's discount liquor is the best liquor store in Waco and possibly Texas their prices are better than anybody's in town, and they're very helpful and very knowledgeable. And it's a Mom and pop's liquor store so you're not contributing to a chain store

Didn’t find what I was looking for (New Riff Single Barrel) The man was very friendly & providing help.

First I'm very disappointed. It looks like they are watering down some liquor. I know because the bottle I bought came with a different cap, they cap looked open and the taste was not the same. Shame on this store and I love coming here.

They had a decent selection and wonderful prices, and were quick as well but their customer service left much to be wanting.

This place is always worth the drive. I live in Hewitt and come here anytime I need something alcohol related. They're locally owned which us a big deal to me and they are personable.

Even in the rough economic times, they're doing what they can to still service the community safely. They run their drive through as well as a second and third lane when they are busy. They wear masks to help others feel comfortable.

I always ask then for their suggestions and what's good. I'm working on a small home bar for my husband and they always give me amazing suggestions. Everything they suggest my husband loves!

They are always polite and efficient, even when the inside of the store is open they are sure to talk to you or greet you. They make sure you have what you need.

"Discount" may be in their name, but it's certainly not reflected in their prices. Small selection, and nothing notable (unless you want to pay $1,000 for one of their marked up bottles of Stagg). Everything they had was also available for 20%-30% less at the Spec's down the street.
