Watch Hospital reviews
14I had a Burberry watch that did not tik any more because of the battery. I took it to a local repair shop but said they didn’t have screws small enough and they recommended me watch hospital, and I am glad they did. I received great service, help and detailed explanations and a very affordable price for battery repair it cost me around $18. Would definitely recommend to anybody that needs repairs done to their watch
I have a 35 year old watch classic. They were the only company that could fix it.
Pricey but watch was dear to me So the price was ok.
A Macy’s employee recommended to get my watch fixed here & they did not disappoint. I was missing some pins on my watch. They told me I needed a new battery since my watch wasn’t running & I told them it was okay that I will just do it next time. They also informed me that it was going to be ready that same day, but due to my busy schedule I told them I was only able to pick it up the next day. Next day, they called me to let me know my watch was ready. And when I received my watch it looked so pretty & polished. They made it look brand new plus I think they replaced my battery anyways because it was running so nicely. At the end I only paid for the pin work done on my watch. My two visits here I was treated so good as well & I 100% recommend anyone to bring their watch here they did a great job
If you ever need a watch repaired you might wan to give these guys a try. It really is a Watch Hospital! They were freindly, personable and shwed great care to my fine watches. Man this place is amazing the took they're time with My dad's prized Invicta watch and didn'tnt return it till it was perfect and for a really good price thanks again Watch Hospital staff definitely recommend this place!
Excellent service! A pin fell out of the band. Dropped the watch off and they fixed it. I realize that I'm not their only customer so leaving it for a day was expected. The lady at the counter called me to let me know my watch was ready. I also needed a battery which they also replaced. I will definitely be a returning customer and will gladly recommend the Watch Hospital to all I know
Recently had one of my Seiko monsters serviced and new crystal put on it well the second hand fell off no big deal.was serviced at a jewelry store and cleaned and resealed. I just wanted a new second hand installed.they called me and said the watch suffered shock well the time was never off even with the hand off.they wanted 350.00 dollars and it would be awhile to get the hands from japan. I told the lady it has not hit or dropped since it was serviced she said oh you must have bumped it on something. No it did not need anything but the second hand. I have 40+ watches it had been worn 2 times but besides the point keep it I have another just glad it was not one of my Rolex's Omegas Longines Jaeger lecoultre or even a zodiac lesson learned glad it was a cheap Seiko. I would go get it but they are a 5 day a week store and close at 5pm wow open Saturday and just take in work sell bands.place is a joke avoid it you have been warned
I went to Jared (where I bought the wife's watch) to have the battery replaced. "We don't do that anymore - ask the "Watch Hospital" down the street if they will replace the battery".
.
So I came on June 5 and they assured me they can replace the battery for $20.00, plus they (I expected the up-sell) could do a "manufacturer refresh" for about $100.00, which I declined (if I want a manufacturer refresh, I'll send to Tissot).
.
I get a call on June 10 that the watch is ready, so went to pick it up. "Battery is replaced and we pressure tested it".
.
Within two weeks, the watch has stopped a number of times. Then it would magically work again. Then this morning, as we are to leave for the airport, the wife says, "the watch has stopped completely". I pull the stem and turn the hands forward 12 hours and push the stem back in - the second hand now moves in 4-second increments - this is indicative the battery needs to be replaced.
.
So I guess the original battery was cleaned up and charged (I'm sure that can't be done) and placed back in, or a stale battery was installed.
.
I'd look for another local watch repair, but I wouldn't know where to go, so I guess it's going back to Tissot. (EDIT: the watch has worked flawlessly until such time it needed a new battery (about two years) and I promptly brought it to have the battery replaced - I told the Watch Hospital, "if the tech opens the watch and has any concerns, please call me - they never did, so assume all is fine).
Took my watch here to get my band fixed. They fixed it at a reasonable price and haven't had it come off since.
They perform great service here, but the prices and timetable is a bit lacking. You'll often need to leave your watch here for a few days, but if you aren't in a rush, it's not a huge deal. Other shops may be a bit faster and cost a bit less. Yet, Watch Hospital are one of the few shops who can repair your timepiece in the area, and I don't think you'd be disappointed in the service.
I needed a battery for a Seiko watch. For years I have paid $5 to have the battery replaced. However I was not anywhere close to the shop (Mr. K's) that has served me for years. Needing a battery and being in a hurry I dropped into the Watch Hospital on 1960. First, the lady at the front counter was clearly having an off day and was quite short with me. She informed me the battery was $19.95 installed! I about fell over. But being in a hurry, I paid it. Then she tried to upsell me on a "manufacturer recommends this watch be sealed - Only $90! That is nearly half the cost of the watch, and has never been recommended in the 20 years I have owned the watch. They completed the work quickly, but prices are outrageous, and these unneeded upsells make me very suspicious! I will never return!
All I wanted was a battery for my watch and they charged me $18. I was the only customer in there and still I had to wait until today to pick it up.
When I got there and picked it up she mad some remark about how Timex didn't seal their watches very well. I have had this watch for three years and I never had a problem with it other than needing a battery every couple years.
I used to take it to a little watch shop in Prescott Valley, Az I was so satisfied with the shop and he only charged me $5. Not only that but he cleaned and polished it too. His business was always busy. Real great way to do business!
I didn't have a great experience. They wanted me to wait a week just to put a new battery in my watch, no thanks!
I purchased a used Omega Seamaster from an online watch retailer, and wanted to bring it in to have its authenticity verified, a pressure test completed, and a new bezel click spring installed as the one in the watch was quite worn. These guys know what they are doing. Completely went over my watch with a fine tooth comb and pressured tested it free of charge. I was very impressed. They were also kind enough to let me know the version of the cal 2500 movement in the watch, because some of the older versions you can no longer get parts for. They ordered the bezel click spring for me and will install it for a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to bring this watch, or any other automatic watch back to them for future service.
