Nothing better than driving 6 hours with 7 adults and 12 children just to be greeted by a locked gate and news from a local that it’s closed for construction. Booked three spots in February. No refund and not a single notification, email, call warning us that they had closed.

Twilight zone. Epic fail. We showed up to a gate locked and no notification or way to contact anyone. The “host” camper rv who was inside the locked gate was as unfriendly as it gets. Said the park was under construction and “def not open”. We were Stuck outside with half a dozen kids and multiple families who travelled over 300 miles to be disappointed and scramble for hotel rooms in Ennis late at night. Absolute bummer.
