We went to 2 other places before going to Burak. Best decision we ever made was going here. Best customer service ever. I was very impressed with Nicholas and felt like we were at home here. No pressure what so ever to buy just try it out and see what you like. Needless to say my daughter found her beloved cello thanks to Nicholas. We will definitely be coming back even though we have a 5 hour drive to do it.

Both this location and the Plano location were phenomenal and very caring! They helped to accommodate me for my repair. And although it was a small repair I don't know what Nicholas did to my viola but he has the magic touch because it sounds even better than it did before! Will be coming back soon

I needed an emergency repair done before I left the country and not only were they able to see me immediately, they did a great job repairing my instrument as well! Everyone treated me very nice, I plan to bring my violin here when I’m in town!

Nick has been taking care of my instrument for the past 4 years, and I am always so pleased with not only the quality of the work he does, but also the service and care he gives his clients. I always trust the work he does, and if anything goes awry he is so quick to take care of it and fix it better than when he received it.

Incredible team full of wonderful and skilled people. I dropped a cello off for repair and it is just spectacular. The then structural cracks are barely noticeable now and the whole instrument was fine tuned to play better than when I got it. Nicholas is continuing his father’s legacy in full force and look no further for a world class instrument or repair!

Three years ago Christmas I bought my husband a cello from a local music school, brought in by a family who's daughter no longer played it. It sat for three years in the case until this month when I decided I would open it, and learn to play it. BUT I discovered a tag inside that said it came from Burak & Associates. I did a bit of online research and was struck by Mr Buraks bio. I wrote to them on FB and learned unfortunately that Mr. Burak senior passed away, but I did immediately received a response from his son on my questions about the instrument. Burak & Associates is the most wonderful stringed instrument atelier in North Texas. Nick Burak is a very fine stringed instrument technician! He is kind, supportive and excellent at his craft! I will not use anyone else to keep my violin in adjustment. Nick has been able to bring the quality and volume of tone out of this instrument like no one else before.
