The best! Nice and friendly every time you walk in. Today is the first time in my years of visiting to be waited on by a rude cashier Jamaice. No hi no thank you. If she doesn't want to be their she doesn't need to be the face representing WAZOBIA

I had never even heard of Wazobia, I was visiting family and stumbled upon it, it was surprisingly clean, bright and well organized.

I was mostly impressed with the fact that there where no foul odors like many other African shops.

I bought cooked jolof rice and chicken from the restaurant next door and it tasted horrible, so I will most likely never return there.

The employees where friendly, courteous and professional.

I also purchased a few beef meat pies and puff puff, which where delicious.

It had a variety of African products and foods and the staff was very friendly and helpful too. Will recommend it to anyone who needs African products.

The BEST African Market in Houston! No rooted smells! Clean modern concert and no strange characters lurking in the stores or outside! Keep it up!

Very disappointed. Paid 50 bux for 2 entrees, portions way too small for the price. My catfish pepper soup had exactly ONE piece of catfish; the chicken in the coconut rice was dry, hard, very overcooked and looked as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. No flavor. Will not be ordering here again.
5/10/2021 RESPONSE TO OWNER REPLY: I ordered thru DoorDash so I'm guessing your prices are higher on that app. I paid $16 for the catfish pepper soup and $19 for the Coconut Rice with Chicken, which is the picture I included of the dried up chicken and rice for this review. My pepper soup DID NOT have a large piece of catfish, let me assure you, or I would not have written this review for your attention. I also ordered a beef roll and a fish roll - so all of that plus tax is the $50 to which I am referring (I am not including delivery fee since you obviously have no control of that). I can post a picture of my receipt since you clearly think I'm lying. I have no interest in your $20 credit for a future visit to try more horribly dry, too-small portioned food.

I ordered spicy gizzards from here and they put two pieces of candy along with it. After eating some of the gizzards, I realized why. For that reason and that reason alone, I'm giving you 5 stars

Wazobia just as the name is a place where Naija is complete in Houston, when it comes to our raw foods, soup ingredients, original Naija dishes and free breakfast between 7 and 8am recently introduced. You can rely on the money transfer service, as prompt and secure.

At least once a week I pop into Wazobia for some “pepper soup”, “Akara”, “Suya”, and my wife’s favorite scotched eggs. Let me also take this moment to express how really proud I am of these guys for not only maintaining an authentic African food store, but for also creating jobs for scores of African youngsters.

Very good Egusi soup and spinach! The market next door is stocked with the best of West African produce.

So I was fighting with 4 & 5 Stars. I had to give Wazobia a 5 all the way. Great customer service is what is going on in this place and I absolutely admire it! In fact, to be very honest I have never had this kind of experience elsewhere and I’ve lived in other places.

My Mother In Law and I love to go to get snacks like meat pie and fish rolls etc. We had exceptional service!

The food and the quality is on point! I will travel from the north side every time!

Great African store and restaurant. I'm forced to go here when my wife gets cravings despite the journey I have to make!

Very clean and organized. They had exactly what we needed and are less expensive than some of the other markets out here.
