Dr. Maxwell and his team are truly amazing. They are kind, thoughtful, and went above and beyond for me. In a pinch helped me to get all my equipment before my insurance switched. I couldn’t be more happy with how I was helped through the whole process from sleep study to getting my machine. Thank you, Thank You, Thank You! I can’t wait to get to sleep now!

Jesus did a wonderful job at helping with the sleep study. He made sure that all of the masks worked to best fit my comfort level. He was very professional and helped me feel relaxed. The equipment helped me to sleep and I am very thankful.

After having spoke with a very nice lady, she set me up with a virtual appointment with the doctor.
The Doctor only gave me about 3 minutes of his time. (and would have been shorter had I not asked questions)
The appointment was at 4: 20 but I kept getting a text that said check in early. Since they kept sending it, I figured I better at least 10 minutes early, so I called in early and waited and waited past 4: 30 and then around 4: 40 got another text saying had some technical issues. Understood, it happens.
Finally the doctor appeared on my screen for 3 seconds, got knocked off. Text said call back in. Finally connected.
Having spoke with the nice lady days earlier, I had explained that I had no insurance and would most likely do the less expensive study at home.
The Doctor said, You just need to come in here for the study. Gave me no helpful peace of mind and was just short and to the point. (I still had questions) He switched me back to the very nice lady who tried her best to make sure I was taken care of.
I had already made my mind up that I was just a number to the doctor and wouldn't waste my time with him.
Then they still charged my card for a full office visit that lasted around 3 minutes.

I would also rate this place a zero if I could. I will be contacting a lawyer. This place is a scam & I will make sure there is a full investigation done here. They not only charged my insurance but also charged my card for the full consult fee as well as the sleep study cost. They knew I was in a desperate situation because my machine broke. They basically forced me into a in office study at a dirty place alone with a male so called nurse that made me very uncomfortable and who tried 3 dirty mask on me after telling him exactly what mask I used even showing him a picture of it. No way this man was a certified nurse. Needless to say $780.00 out of my pocket and even more my insurance paid I still have no machine to replace my broken one and no refund of ANY of my money. But they did contact me and say I was approved for the at home study now, lol just another $600! Yes I am going to see to it that this place is at least outed for the absolute fraud place it is preying on innocent people who just want a good nights rest. I feel violated having been forced to be alone with an unqualified man at night and dirty from the dirty mask he was shoving on my face and scammed from all the money they stole from me and my insurance please DONT GO HERE IT ISN’T SAFE.

Very helpful in diagnosing and providing alternatives. Getting a CPAP drastically changed my life for the better.

Dr. Maxwell and Well First have been excellent. Dr. Maxwell is very attentive and helpful. He's a great doctor. I've been extremely pleased with the entire staff there.especially Rebecca and Jackie. They have both gone above and beyond to help with appointments, scheduling tests and also helping to coordinate a new equipment vendor. I would highly recommend WellFirst to everyone.

BUYER BEWARE! I wish I could give this place a zero star review. I had my “consultation” online. I was charged $170 above and beyond what my insurance would cover. The “consultation” lasted less than 10 minutes. It consisted of me stating my symptoms and the doctor telling me a long list of things that could possibly be causing my issue. I have been a nurse for over 25+ years, and I have seen a lot of legitimate consultations in my day. This was not one of them! I was told at my “consultation” that the office would submit a request for an at home study and an in clinic study to see what my insurance would cover.

Within 48 hours of my “consultation”, I was approved for an in clinic study. When I questioned as to whether or not I was approved for an at home study, the staff member’s only response was the doctor likes to submit for the in clinic study first. If you get denied, then they will submit for an at home study. Of course they submitted for the in clinic study only…more money in the doctors pocket.

As a nurse, I have talked to cardiologists who request sleep studies for their patients. According to the doctors they refer their patients to, at home testing is very accurate. When I told the office person this, she said the doctor likes the in clinic studies because he gets a lot more data. This clinic is not looking at what test is best for the patient. They are looking to see who will get approved for an in clinic study and put more money in the doctor’s pocket. An ethical physician would start with the least expensive, least disruptive study and only go with the more expensive, more disruptive study if it was deemed medically necessary!

This is a money grab plain and simple!

I very rarely do reviews, but I gotta say, this guy I met Jerry Jacob, When I called for information to get my new machine set up was unbelievable.
Professional, Knowledgeable, in the most honest fashion. His love for his job really shines through!

The practice met my expectations. I would rather go to a practice where they are more well versed with alternate and newer therapies.
Also, they have still not started in person visits. They record virtual visits for no reason.

I felt very comfortable here during my study. It was clean, peaceful and comfortable. I was taken good care of.
