Wellspring of Life Counseling and Play Therapy Center, San Antonio TX

I don't know where to start. I was a patient for about 6 or 7 months. Recent I asked my counselor for short term disability, she filled them out and did not include support threapy notes, she told me if my employer needed them she could just send them. My employer denied my claim and I was scared and frantic about losing my job. Mind you im going to threapy for anxiety and depression. Her response was, my employer is probably not going to approve my std claim bc the notes do not show any supporting details about how I've been feeling and what symptoms are preventing me from doing my job. Any time I talked about my domestic violence, response was just leave him, problems at home, just get ur own place. And 2 days before my appointment I got an email that I've been terminated. I may have m rescheduled some appointments, I had at least 2 no call no shows bc I was so sick. And 2 days before my appointment, in the middle of working out my std denial, she terms me.

I Have been coming to Wellspring for a while now to see Dr. JD, I have been very pleased with the front office staff helping me get scheduled and notifying me whenever he has cancellations to get me in sooner. Jd is a great therapist. He is not just there for his check. He actually cares about his client unlike other clinicians I have seen. I would Highly recommend wellspring to anyone in need of counseling.

I can’t even begin with my aggravation! I reached out and tried to confirm how to join the teleconference several times and there was no response. However, at 915 am my account was charged for $50…. Now let me mention my employer pays for these services the first 5 sessions are free to me through a program with the company! I called the office AGAIN and Lodi answered…… so frustrating her words were “well you should have logged into the portal” I told her I didn’t have a profile it was telling me I didn’t have an account. No options no let’s look into rescheduling no empathy! I told her I wanted to speak to someone who could resolve the issue since I called them prior and she said no one was available since they are all working from home and couldn’t give me further contact information… worst experience and will be notifying my employer to no longer have this place listed as an listed therapist
