Dr Toman & his staff are always gentle & caring with our pets and professional & affordable.

We've taken our pets (dogs and cats) to West End Animal Clinic since moving to Beaumont in 1990. Moved to Lumberton in 1994 and still take our pets there, including our latest edition, a dog we adopted a few months ago.

Amazing doctor and staff! Had my pup spayed, and everyone, from the front desk staff to the vet techs, to the doctor were all so nice. Incredibly professional and timely, and Dr. Toman even followed up on the phone a couple of times to make sure my pup was still doing well post-op at home!

We found ourselves in an emergency one morning. My normal vet wasn't open yet, but West End was. I called and told them my dog was seizing and dying in my arms, could we please bring him in. I felt this was it. I was told I could drop him off bc they had fully booked appointments. I told them again this wasnt a drop off situation, my dog was dying and I needed a vet to help me. Still nothing. My normal vet ended up opening the doors for us early and privately in order for us to say goodbye.

I will never, in a million years, recommend this place to anyone. I'm surprised it came so highly recommended but I will make sure those people know of my callus, uneducated experiences here.

Do not trust your pet here.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I was comfortable leaving my cat in their care and appreciated all of the follow up information when the vet called to tell me my cat was ready to go home. I will definitely be keeping this team as my vet!

I love Dr. Toman! He was very patient and took the time to listen to my concerns and discuss with me different treatment options. Looking forward to taking my animals here for many years!

I’m usually not one to leave reviews, but I’m very pleased with my experience at this clinic. I had my cat neutered so I was anxious dropping him off (crazy cat lady). It was also my cat’s first visit with this vetenarian. I was blown away at how welcoming and personable each staff member was, especially so early in the morning. I had a couple of questions about a separate concern I had but assumed I would need to make a separate appointment being that it was the doctor’s surgery day so I didn’t even request to speak to the doctor that day. Dr. Tolman came out and introduced himself and asked if he could do an evaluation. He was so friendly and thorough. He took care of additional testing last minute and all of my concerns the day of surgery, then personally called to update me on how everything went. Such a smooth and pleasant visit, and a clinic I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a safe place to bring your fur babies. Dr. Tolman and his staff deserve more than 5 stars!

We found a puppy that we named Peanut Butter roaming on our street. We took him in and a few days later he had symptoms of Parvo. Our regular vet could not "work us in" and we found West End. They treated us better, and had us come in immediately. The vet told us the truth about our options, and helped us fight for his life using aggressive treatment. The entire staff was wonderful. They have gained our business from now on and Peanut Butter made a FULL RECOVERY thanks to, not only the medicine, but the love from this place. Thank you all!

Top notch vet! Immediately saw me when my bird was very ill. Were so comforting when he had to be put to sleep. Received a card of condolences later. Meant so much to me.

My Mom took a German Shepherd we rescued here to get checked out. The vet and his staff were awesome and very caring! We will definitely use them again for our pets.

Best vet in Beaumont! I take my 3 dogs and cat here. Dr. Tollman is so gentle and explains in detail in a way that's understandable. The vet techs are superb always loving on the animals. I would 100% recommend this vet clinic to anyone.

So far so good. We had to change vets for our menagerie because of the sheer difficulty in getting the meds they needed in reasonable time, and because of our previous vets poor choice of front desk associates. This one is well staffed, with sweet, kind, animal lovers. They have pet mascots in the lobby to keep you entertained. The vets are also very thorough and actually did a follow up call on one of our babies to make sure he was responding well to his meds. The prices are comparable to other vets in the area, which is worth it if your pets are your family. The wait time can be a little long because it is a small business that seems to be very popular- but so far it hasn't been unreasonable or excessive. One time we had to wait, we had an emergency appointment, so we were being "fit in" between their other appointments, so waiting was expected.

Chance and I drive from Houston to the greatest animal clinic in Texas. All of the employees are friendly and caring just like Dr. Tomas. Your pet is in the "gifted" hands of Dr. Tomas and that is a fact.

It hurts to talk about this place because I lost my little baby bro here.: (They told me if he's good, he's good. Until after my trip I had to bring him in. Unfortunately, death already got my little doggy. However, they made me feel better and happy again by giving me his paw prints and a letter for my loss. I'm so glad they helped better than my mom did. (At the time, she wasn't helping) and I recommend them to anyone who is in the area and don't know any other vet. <3

Dr. Toman and his staff are knowledgeable, they are welcoming, and they handle our dogs lovingly. We will keep going back to West End Animal Clinic for as long as he's there to go back to, which I hope will be many years to come!
