Westbahn Auto Service, Houston TX

So far, they worked on my Lexus rx300 and my Honda CRV. I'm very happy with my service. Granted they are little high on the labor side but it's the location and overhead cost to cover the cost. You can always find a shade tree mechanic if you want something cheaper, but this place is close to my house and the staff is very nice with clean shop. Most of my repairs were simple wear and tear items, haven't done any major repairs yet and I hope not. Very happy with them and hope they continue to do honest business.

I've been going to Westbahn Auto for over 20 years and they're always very nice and welcoming. The staff is great, knowledgeable, and honest. They also have reasonable pricing and offer alternative pay like SNAP and other financial products.

We have always had a good experience with Westbahn, taking two cars here over the past 2+ years. They are reliable and thorough, and I really appreciate the service representatives.

I’ve been bringing my personal and work trucks here for awhile. I came in for an oil change 9/9/2023. When it came down to pay I told Gilmor that I had a Groupon normally I show him the Groupon and he applies the discount, today I was told I needed to buy it no problem, after showing him both the confirmation number from Groupon and my email he claimed he could not find it in their system. After 10 minutes he sees it pop up as pending but is telling me that it he won’t give me the keys because it needs to be finalized. Another service advisor walks in and says sometimes it says pending and goes through after a couple of hours and told Gilmor that I was good to go. Gilmor still held my keys for another 20 minutes saying it doesn’t matter still says pending. He had a HORRIBLE attitude after I’ve spent damn near 10k here in repairs before. After another 10 minutes goes but he finally gives me my keys. I ask for a receipt he claims he couldn’t give me one they were going paperless. Not sure why he’s an advisor with that attitude put him in the back with that attitude!

A went to a dealership to fix the oil gasket cover that they had not fixed properly. The dealership told me that they saw the oil gasket cover needed to be replaced but I also needed by Timing Cover replaced because it was leaking. $1750. I was suspicious so I came to get a second opinion & was told there was spilled oil but after they cleaned it up, it didn't appear to be a leak. Saves me $1690! Very honest people!

Solid service
Three weeks ago, one of my ignition coils went out, replaced it. Then another one went out, so I decided to let Westbaha replace the remaining
Ignition coils, and spark plugs. Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by two friendly service advisors, both were very knowledgeable, and straightforward. Tommy, one of the mechanics, had me up & running in half the time I’d expected. I didn’t meet him, but I know he’s thorough, and clean. I’d definitely recommend the shop.

They always have quick and easy professional service with a clean environment. Quality work for the lowest prices in town! You must experience it.

Experienced technicians and friendly staff. They keep they word and do a excellent job with repairs. I recommend them 100 percent for a true diagnostic and repair service!

They did what they said what they would do, in the time frame stated. Good work. They threw in a premium filter at their expense. I offered to pay for it and they said their error they would eat the cost. You don’t get that kind of service many places.

I really appreciated the honest assessment of my 2016 Tahoe electronic issue. The lane change warning feature started to go haywire and they gave me a realistic projection of what it would cost to fix it. Needless to say I think I can pay more attention to my lane changing from now on without a high tech aid.

I came in for an oil change and a few miles from the shop oil was spewing out the top and leaking underneath. I called the shop and a tow truck was sent and the person who did the oil change just kept saying I have done so many of these and never a problem. No one ever apologized or offered a refund for all the trouble. They did figure out the O ring had split and replaced it. Very disappointed in the customer service.

Great service and work. I shopped around a bit and decided on this location due to the high reviews and reasonable cost. Will be back! I have an Audi and they were able to work on it with no issues!

As a woman I've had Numerous of Unpleasant experiences with various mechanics/auto shops. I was Exhausted. I was referred to Westbahn Auto Service and
was told to ask for the mechanics Allen. Upon calling, the Staff/Advisor were Professional kind, and Patient. Let me say, "Allen was an answered Prayer ". He has demonstrated Honesty, Integrity, and he is very Thorough. After he test drove and diagnosed my Cadallic Escalade; he communicated his recommendations with Expertise and Patience. Allen is an Excellent, Professional Mechanic. The Best by Far. My Escalade is running at it's Best and I have found a Permanent Home to service my Escalade. Stress Free.

Cuong and his team are down to Earth and provide excellent service. They are quick with their inspections. I am coming back for other services such as parts installations and paint Restoration. Would highly recommend!
