Westchase Dentist, Houston TX

This is a clean dental facility. The receptionist and assistant were nice. I am a new patient whom wasn't informed that Dr. Chee was on vacation. When I introduced myself and addressed her the lady, her dental associate corrected me and introduced herself.in which I was confused. Nevertheless, I decide to stay due to my extraction emergency, time, gas, and avoidance of taking off from work. Although she was kind, I had to be numbed 4-5 times due to continuous pain. She stated that my nerve was dead, but realized it wasn't and said it was dying. She also realized that there's wasn't enough space to grip the tooth. After an hour of tugging, drilling, and pounding, she determined that the entire left side needed to be numbed send a referral to an oral surgeon. I respectfully declined and quickly left in more pain than originally. I wish she would've realized sooner that I needed an oral surgeon to avoid wasted time. I pray that no one else has to go through that traumatic experience.

Kind, compassionate, caring. Listens carefully to what patient has to say. Calming the patients’ fears helps a great deal. Walks you thru the process. They help you to understand the particulars of oral hygiene so you can take better care of your teeth. Lucky and blessed to have found such a good dentist!

Great staff very friendly and Dr explained all the options patiently. And I got this beautiful gift.

Dr. Chee takes time to give attention to my çoncerns l have been a patient to her practice for thirty plus years, l have referred her to family members. She is the best.

All I am going to say is, please get a second opinion before agreeing to any services outside of your routine/annual dental work. Several years ago, when I visited this office for annual/routine dental cleanings, I was told that I had a significant number of cavities, which is something I have never been told or dealt with before or after I visited this place.

Looking back, I am not sure what I had really agreed to, and while the decision was left up to me at the end of the day, I had products/services “strongly suggested” and felt pushed on to me that I never even needed. And I did not realize this until several years later once I gained more experience caring for myself as an independent adult. Just exercise caution because I got the feeling they were an one of those places that try to bill as much as they can if you allow them to, etc. This is just my personal experience now that I have been around the block a few times.

Both times I have been here I have had a great experience! The staff is friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. Dr. Chee explains everything well and really put me more at ease. I had cavities filled so I was a little nervous. Lol Overall, I have had a really good experience. Will update after the next visit!
Update 10/11/23: I've been going to Dr. Chee for a few years now, and I still stand by my original review. However, this last visit both Dr. Heaton, Dr. Chee and staff truly went above and beyond for me. I was a work in with tooth pain and ended up getting a crown due to a crack on my tooth. They made me feel so comfortable, explained everything in detail, and they checked in with me to make sure I was doing ok throughout the process. They are wonderful and I really appreciate them!

The professional services rendered by Dr. Chee and Dr. Heaton are truly exceptional. My children are delighted to visit this dental practice for their regular cleaning appointments and are taken care off with love. My three children anticipate their appointments and genuinely enjoy the experience. We will continue to see Westchase Dentististry Dr. Chee and Dr. Heaton.

I'm so glad I chose this place for my dental visits. Claudia was very friendly and helping.dentists are so knowledgable and kind.nothing stressful:) I went for a routine check up and cleaning, they performed everything so fast, and gave me a lot of useful information about my teeth health.

Went to have extractions done this week and the staff was very friendly and professional. They explain everything to you and make sure you are comfortable.

Dr Chee is the best & most thorough dentist I have ever been to. I've been going to her for over 10 years & have had a lot of different work done & I'm very happy with the care of her & her staff!

The staff and experience was amazing! Dr. Chee throughly explained to me about my teeth and even went over some cool dental health facts!

I had Dr. Heaton and she was so nice and gentle! She always checked in on me and even massaged my jaw when the treatment got long. Her patient care was BEAUTIFULLL! Her work was meticulous and overall painless!

Kristen and Joy did an amazing job capturing my roots in the x rays! X rays are typically painfully for me due to my small mouth but they did it painlessly!

Very friendly staff who went above and beyond with their care. Dr. Chee and Dr. Heaton both saw me and were very informative. I filled out my form online before coming and didn’t wait in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. They truly have excellent service.

Dr. Chee, Dr. Heaton and staff are always friendly and professional. I drive a distance but it is worth every mile for excellent, dependable care. I highly recommend Dr. Chee for her consistent quality.
There is free covered parking attached to the professional building making a safe, cool, protected from rain access. Security guards monitor the area with a mobile unit, surveilance cameras and sign in desk. So important these days.

As always the services provided are excellent. Staff is always pleasant and I am well pleased. Love my doctor Chee.

Dr Chee and Dr Heaton have been my family's dentists for over a decade now. I go out of my way to continue seeing them due to the high level of trust they've instilled in me over the years. All of the office staff are professional and personable. I would recommend to anyone who is scared of dentists or had complicated issues to use this dentist office.
