Westcreek Trail Rides, San Antonio TX

My wife and I had an amazing time riding horses today. Horses look clean and well treated and staff is very professional and made us feel confortable, especially as first-time riders. Thank you!

We visited for the first time in January 2023, and just visited again today for spring break. Both times were wonderful - gentle horses, beautiful trails, and knowledgeable staff. My 7 year old was instantly comfortable and loved it (me too!). We loved petting the baby goats out front and watching the roosters run around. We'll be back next time we're in San Antonio.

My husband and granddaughter took the trail ride and absolutely loved it. Neither had ever ridden a horse before. Horses all looked healthy and plenty of goats to pet! Guides were very nice.

Very tame and we'll kept horses. The trail ride was very calming and controlled. Not too big of a group. The Valentine's package was special, and the hostess was so friendly and went out of her way to make our anniversary special️ Thank you for all that you did!

Listen! This was amazing and Megan (our guide) was outstanding! She was great with our kids and explaining things to them. Both of my kids (ages 7 and 8) rode their own horse. This was my first time on a horse and it was a very pleasant experience. I rode Dominic and he likes to slow stroll but was a very easy horse to ride! Best horse experience ever. This is a must if you are in the San Antonio area! Very quiet and relaxing.

This was a gift. So Husband and I took grandkids and son with us for the ride. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. All the ladies were very helpful and kind.

We had a great experience here! Loved the farm and got to visit during kidding season; baby goats are just the best! We got to see the kitty (Squish?) hunting a lizard (apparently his favorite game), something we don't see up North. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and she was so encouraging with a young girl she was leading who was a first time rider. The horses were mellow and easy riders. The trail was not overly exciting for more experienced riders, but provided a lot of shade from the harsh sun. Afterwards our guide introduced us to her pet pot bellied pig, Petunia. All in all, would highly recommend! Hopefully you get Weasel, a very good boy (who loves snacking)!

We had a great trail ride with our guide Isabella Jan. 19th…we had first time riders in our group and they loved it! Beautiful and gentle horses! A great experience!

Love this place! My daughter did the horse camp during Spring Break and she can't stop talking about it. They kept her safe and made sure she had the best time!

Our family had the most amazing time at Westcreek Trail Rides. Our kids (7&8) did not want to leave! Our guide, Megan, was wonderful with the kids and made sure we always knew what was going on. The kids even got to ride on their own, that’s how well trained the horses were. We are all first time riders, but you wouldn’t have known because the horses were just that good. We’d definitely visit again, and recommend to anyone who is looking to have some great outdoors fun. Our horses were: Gidget, Domino, Cactus, and Weezle. The absolute best horses!

From Chicago this was my First time visiting the state of Texas, and I wanted to include some type of horseback riding experience on our trip. WestCreek Trail rides definitely succeeded in filling that for my family and I. From check in to jumping off the entire staff was super helpful and very courteous, especially at our beginner level. They even helped us with taking a pic afterward. I will definitely be coming back in the future. No doubt will it be a bigger group!

Great place to trailride. Have taken my kids (7&12) here twice and they have enjoyed it each time. The staff is great and the horses are calm. Nice leisurely ride.

Had a great time on this ride, and so did my wife. A little late showing up but still allowed us to join the group. Michelle did a great job keeping the back end of the trail riders moving. Will come back again.

Came here for my birthday and they separated my husband and I so we didn’t even ride the trail together. Also the young girls provided little to no guidance throughout the ride. The one I was closest chatted about her life story the entire time to another gentleman riding the trail. I would definitely not visit this place again and encourage you to maybe give another horse riding service a try here in San Antonio.

My son (4) and I rode as a double rider earlier this week. It was an easy location to find and the horses were being fed breakfast. We rode Domino with Isabella and her horse Dakota as our guides. Domino was a little stubborn leaving and pitched a little fit. But we all stayed calm and once he realized he needed to work and get on the trail he was fine. He didn't spook or anything the whole hour we were on the trail. I've ridden horses before, but I still consider myself a beginner. This was a nice, easy walk. My son had a blast and tells everyone we went riding on Domino haha. Thank you, Isabella for a great experience! We definitely wanna ride again when we visit.

My girlfriend and I came here while vacationing in San Antonio. The place was awesome and helped you feel comfortable. My girlfriend has rode horses before but it was my first time ever. I rode Willow and she rode Zippy. The horses were great and very easy to ride. I recommend anybody in the San Antonio area to try Westcreek!

Had a wonderful time horseback riding here with my husband. I feel they did a great job matching the horse to level of my riding experience. I rode Gidet and she was just a doll. Our trail guid was very pleasant and made delightful conversation and gave some history about the trail we were on. The trail it's self was awesome. I loved the different terrain and the fact that our trail guid would give us a heads up before we were about to change gait, we never went above a fast trot sadly but I think that's because we had a lot of beginners in our group with us, all in all a very enjoyable experience that I found easy to schedule and I plan to give them more of my business in the future.
