Western Edge Kitchen & Cocktails reviews
18You can actually hear the music and talk too! They get GREAT musicians like Cam King. I had a burrito bowl. Was great but the beans n rice with sausage was even better!
Burger was to dry not enough salt needed seasoning. Over toasted my buns fries were not seasoned
Always have good food, creative cocktails and just the right amount of flare. This place is our go to for dinner in Fredericksburg.
Must have been a slow day. Not impressed. Chicken wings not done and the BBQ sauce was not great. Service a bit slow but we were on the patio around 2pm.
But others in my group thought average.
One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Brilliant atmosphere, felt very comfortable and energetic at the same time. Our server was excellent, his name was Ryan and he was very charismatic. Of course, the food was incredible, the Philly cheesesteak was great, and that's coming from someone that's from Philadelphia.
The Service Was Good.
The Billie Burger Was Great!
But, The Real Star of This Place is Dolly Herself!
Thanks for the good time Western Edge in Fredericksburg!
Incredibly underwhelming food. Nice service but for $15 I got fed a quarter of a quiche. So won’t recommend sry
Hey all. I can say that as of today, this restaurant is absolutely not worth visiting.
We ordered the dinner special of shrimp and steak kababs and the chicken fried steak. The kababs consisted of two medium sized shrimp and two little cubes of steak on two toothpick sized skewers. For around $24, this was an absolutely disgraceful quantity to serve someone. This dish came with “sautéed spinach” that were totally not seasoned or sautéed, closer resembling microwaveable spinach.
The chicken fried steak was again completely under seasoned and served with extremely gluey, tasteless gravy. Though the mashed potatoes were good!
We also ordered an appetizer of truffle fries, which weren’t bad but the portion was again pitiful for $12. Just a handful of fries that, inexplicably came with some sort of sriracha mayonnaise?
Finally the service was slow and really pretty unprofessional.
One of the worst meals I have had in quite a while and, after tip and one cheap glass of wine, we spent $85. Not exactly a deal.
Wishing this place the best, but there is some work that needs to be done.
I visited here on a Friday night, and even though they seated us right away, nobody ever came to our table to take our order, or even offer water. We tried to order directly from the bar but the one bartender on duty was too overloaded to take new orders. After 35 minutes of not having a waiter even speak to us, we left. Unfortunate experience, as this place was highly recommended to us.
Great little place but shoulda sat outside. Inside is an avg.experience. Food was good but service was a little slow. Not too pricey with good drinks. Try the Unicorn Piss shot!
This was the worst breakfast and service that I’ve ever had. Cold food, terrible staff, missing items. Do not eat here. Ruined my day.
BEFORE THIS MOMENT. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A 4. YESTERDAY I WAS HERE. FOOD ADEQUATE. SERVICE LESS THAN ATTENTIVE. I AM HERE THIS MORNING TO PICK UP (AS ARRANGED) THE TWO PIECES OF ARTWORK I PURCHASED YESTERDAY. YESTERDAY I WALKED, SO I MADE ARRANGEMENTS TO PICK THE TWO PIECES UP THIS MORNING. I HAVE A FOUR HOUR ROAD TRIP AHEAD. THE INDIVIDUAL I ARRANGED WITH (AND PAID) NOW "NO LONGER WORKS HERE". EVERYONE ELSE SEEMS TO HAVE SELECTIVE ABILITY TO SPEAK ENGLISH. THEY STATE THEY CANNOT REACH THE OWNER. I CANNOT GET THE TWO PIECES OFF THE WALL WITHOUT ASSISTANCE.
I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE AND ALSO TWO OTHER BUSINESSES TO MANY PEOPLE.
I WON'T DO IT AGAIN.
THIS IS NOT HOW TO TREAT LOYAL CUSTOMERS.
Yeah, whomever said this place was good, lied. Spend your money elsewhere, devise was slow and bad, still waiting for my utensils. They said they serve brunch, gave us a brunch menu but was only serving lunch…yeah it’s a no for me
Went for a road trip and stopped here for some breakfast. The service was good, the wait time was zero, and the place was clean. I really wanted pancakes and was disappointed because they were dry and needed plenty of syrup. However, the rest of the food was delicious, the chicken fried steak was good, eggs cooked how I asked, biscuit was good as well, and the potatoes were fluffy inside and had crisp on the outside.
We got the fish plate and the CC cheesesteak. I would drive two hours to come here again. Excellent food. Eden gave great service.
We visited on a Tuesday at 5: 00. There was 1 other table with customers. The waiter brought us water. Never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. He took our order, then brought our food. Never saw him again. We had to find someone to pay.
All that being said, the food was very good. The other reviews mostly say good service. Guess we just came at the wrong time. Not from here, so won’t be back. But sure won’t suggest it to friends.
We got the Migas for breakfast. So good! Leo was a great server. We will be going back to try dinner.
I have been here once before and had a nice experience.
Unfortunately, this time around it was not a tasty experience. I had a loaded baked potato that tasted old. I truly hope they are not getting complacent. I will give them another try. After all maybe this was a fluke.
Sincerely,
M
