Highly recommend. Our dog Presley has been lucky to be treated by Dr. Raines and Dr. Daniel at Westlake Animal Hospital. From a dental surgery in 2021 to a high-stress Christmas emergency/mystery ailment in 2022 to general care, both doctors and the staff at WAH were extremely helpful, doting, compassionate and knowledgable with our best friend and family member Presley.

Best experience at a veterinary practice I’ve ever had. This clean and super comfortable office everyone feels at home, knows all the animals and their natures by name and trait. The vet tech was knowledgeable, helpful, organized and super efficient along with being so friendly and our time with the doctor was amazing. She took her time and listened to all our concerns - no question was too small. She watched and listened to our sweet dog and made conservative recommendations that felt just right. After the appointment the team gave our shy pup a treat which she wouldn’t take. Rather than give up, they got out the super treats and have made a friend for life. Thx for immediately generating our trust as it relates to our most precious furry family member.

Can't say enough about Westlake Animal Hospital! I have been a client since 1989, and the care we have received for our dogs over the years has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff are friendly, caring and compassionate, treating the dogs as if they were their own. Over the 33 years, we've had many a vet visit, but I can honestly say there was never a time I walked away disappointed with the care we received. A special shout-out to Dr. Angela Asbury and Signe Corbin, who have ALWAYS ALWAYS gone above and beyond to provide the best care possible to our pack. Feel pretty lucky to have these guys in our corner!

Westlake Animal Hospital is the best! They have been our vet since the 80s (when I was a kid). We have always had English Bulldogs and they require a lot of extra health care. Dr. Asbury knows exactly how to treat our bullies and has done so with professionalism and the BEST bedside manner a 4-legged friend and their human could ask for! Often times our bullies require a medical bath and there is no better med spa offered than that of the awesome vet tech, Signe! She goes above and beyond with the best skin care and when time permits a perfect "Paw-ticure"! Signe was even able to point out that our bulldog Lola might be happier on some anti-anxiety meds. It never occurred to me to consider anxiety meds for Lola. After consulting carefully with Dr. Asbury and Signe, Lola has been a much happier and chill dog with her meds. This was a true game changer! And it's the little things too.like calling for a last minute appointment and the clinic is always able to accommodate us, even if it' just a quick nail trim for the cat. All of the vet techs are super friendly, especially Barbarita. She's not afraid to get on the floor and play with my dogs/cat and make them feel comfortable. The staff loves on my animals and they make me and my fur babies think we are the only clients they have, even though I know they have many other clients. 10 out of 10 for Westlake Animal Hospital and staff!

Since we moved to Austin 14 years ago, Westlake animal Hospital has provided us with exceptional care. We have had many dogs and many issues and they've always treated us like family. Even during these last 3 challenging years! I have a few shout outs: Dr. Angela Asbury, the world's best veterinarian (for me and im certain for many). I'm not sure I would still have dogs if not for her. I also greatly appreciate Dr. Ian Voelzel whom I trust and has never failed to squeeze us in and always has time and answers for my endless questions. He's always a terrific surgeon. Go aggies! Barbarita along with Signe are my rock star vet techs- who enable me to care for my briards, who have all been rescue dogs; some more challenging than others. Thank you both! They have gone above and beyond because they're knowledgeable and they care for our dogs like they are their own companions. Thank you!

Westlake has provided superior service for my 2 dogs & 2 cats for 7 yrs. Dr Asbury & Signe Corbin in particular have gone above & beyond my expectations in providing care for my babies. I have been able to reach Dr Asbury after hours in emergencies. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Their years of experience & wisdom is unsurpassed. Westlake Animal Hospital has been a part of our days since 2006. The staff, especially Signe Corbin, has supported the needs of our Mimi Pug until she crossed the rainbow bridge in January of 2019. I wholeheartedly appreciate the way in which Westlake Animal Hospital executed everything with (first!) compassion, education and professional expertise.

In this season of our lives for our family of five, Westlake Animal Hospital supports our labradoodle, Judy Bloom. She is a highly anxious, lovable member of our family. Dr. Asbury and her team is taking the time to earn her trust and patiently care for her. We are also very grateful for Chris' puppy training class. After our class, Judy is making great strides toward engaging with dogs and humans. She truly is a different, more confident pup.

Westlake Animal Hospital (WLAH) is simply fantastic. The care, service and knowledge these folks have is hard to beat. My little pug, Paige, has been through the wringer this year but WLAH was there to help and expertly resolve issues spanning from a UTI, ear infections, and multiple Mast Cell Tumor removals.

Dr. Asbury, Dr. Voelzel and Signe Corbin have all been wonderful, empathetic, and knowledgeable in navigating Paige's medical needs. Even the front desk folks are great and friendly. I could not ask for a better team or recommend anyone else.

This is the only place I will take my pugs in Central Texas. Signe is truly one of the most amazing humans. They helped fix our pug Hiro’s nose, extending his life and more importantly allowing him to live more comfortable. We lost a pug Harlie before finding Signe & the Westlake crew, I always wonder how much longer we would’ve had with our pug Harlie if we would’ve found this animal hospital first. We've been going to Westlake for almost 20 years and wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else. Why? They provide thoughtful, thorough care. We've had dogs with kidney issues, liver issues, cancer, hip dysplasia, arthritis and they've helped us manage their care with compassion.

They take the time to have a conversation with you and outline all the options. This is so important to me! I also love that they get down on the ground with my dogs.

The staff is super friendly and professional, the vets really know their stuff and care about animals and the vet techs are just fabulous.

I always recommend them. They may not be a low cost vet but I have high confidence in the value of their care.

Westlake Animal Hospital provides (by far) the best care for my pups — especially given my weak spot for pugs, a breed with a plethora of health issues. They are experts at care for both furry family members, and the humans who bring them in. I cannot imagine ever going to another vet. Extra bonus, they have a beautiful relationship with local rescues, and save so many sweet animals when they need help the most. Highly, highly recommend.
