Dr. Caridi combines top notch professionalism, expertise, and unmatched skill, with a funny and charismatic bedside manner. I left every office visit with peace of mind and a pep in my step! I love this team, I love Dr. Caridi, and I LOVE MY RESULTS!

Years after considering getting procedure done for gynecosmastia, I finally pulled through. My only complaint is wished I’ve done it sooner. I was living in Colorado when I reached out to Dr. Caridi and the whole process could not have been easier! His staff including Cherri, Carol, and Maria are AMAZING and guided me throughout the whole process. Dr. Caridi performed a rhinoplasty on me and I am completely blown away by the results. It has now been two weeks since my surgery date- it is unreal how fast I am healing! They gave me great aftercare instructions which I followed and Maria has been available every day to answer any questions or concerns I have had. I felt totally taken care of by this warm, friendly, and professional staff.

I was on the fence about getting my procedure done, had researched hundreds of surgeons throughout the country, and finally decided to fly to Austin to have it done under the care of Dr. Caridi and the AGC. I under went gyno surgery in March 2019. Dr Caridi and his team did an excellent job! The process was professional, up-front, and honest. I was quoted a price and that's the exact amount I paid.

My recovery flew by and after about 7 weeks any bruising and scabs were completely gone. By Memorial day weekend I was able to enjoy the weekend at the lake shirtless soaking up the sun! (This is something I hadn't done in 7 years!)

My results turned out very good! The team at AGC is very competent and has an eye for detail. I'm very thankful for the work they performed. My only regret is not getting this done earlier.

I first emailed photos of myself to Dr. Caridi for his opinion on getting gynecomastia surgery. I was quoted a price in his response and later sent paperwork to be filled out. In the paperwork, I marked that I had the following conditions: diabetes, irregular heartbeat and high blood pressure. All of these conditions have been under control since my drastic weight loss and change of lifestyle. This didn’t seem to be a problem as I was told the next step for surgery was to be cleared by my personal doctor and have an EKG conducted. After successfully being cleared by my doctor and paying a ridiculously expensive out of pocket bill, I was told by Dr. Caridi’s team that I was too high risk for surgery. They came to this conclusion because of my diabetes and BMI, both of which was known previously of me visiting my doctor. I am extremely upset that I paid for a doctor visit all for nothing and also very disappointed in Dr. Caridi and his team. I do understand the concern for my health and well-being, but you could have determined my risks before my doctor visit. Now I’m $500 shorter on getting my procedure done at somewhere else. Thanks for wasting my time and yours.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE _ BOTCHED GYNACOMASTIA by CARIDI

i had surgery for mild gyno done by caridi 7 months ago with a pretty bad result
1.the preop assessment was inadequate.he spent one minute with me, did not examine me and did not explain the surgery/consent.

2.the surgery was done poorly, rushed and incomplete with a bad result.he did bad liposuction, very uneven and lopsided.he did excessive lipo on the right side and much less on the left side.he removed part of my right pec muscle fascia resulting in permanent deformity.this has left me with a significant asymmetry postop.the right side is a lot smaller now.he misused the vaser and caused second degree burns.this has left me with significant skin scaring, discoloration and burning pain on both sides.i now have to take neurontin to sleep.this is permanant irreversible damage.when i showed the second degree burns to the nurse post op, i was advised this was normal

3.i found post op communication with lacey and caridi deceptive, evasive, misleading and dishonest.initially he said the result was incredible.after three months, he acknowledged the asymmetry but said that this was swelling and fluid, which should settle with six months massage.he has not provided any explanation for any of these complications. NO answers to specific questions as to WHY the vaser burns, pec damage, uneven and lopsided? He said he was an expert and this has never happened before.he has stopped responding to emails asking further for advice and postop management for the ongoing worsening scar, burning pain and tissue defect.he has effectively created bad complications and then abandoned postop follow up

4.i have sought a seccond opinion from a local surgeon who has confirmed that i have a vaser burns scar contracion and dysthetic nerve damage from negligent use of the vaser.the scar tissue on the right is worsening as is the bad burning pain.he explained that the surgery was done by a technically inadequate and poorly trained surgeon, with imprper use of the vaser resulting in a bad cosmetic result

5.in summary, i have had a disastrous result.in my case, caridi has done bad surgery and then abbrogated all responsibility by attempting a cover up and then abandoning follow up

i have submitted a complaint with corroborating evidence to the texas medical board about my experience.he is currently being investigted

Their virtual consultation was amazing! I uploaded pictures of the areas I wished to treat with a my background. It was very fast, and heard back from the doctor and his staff with a quoted price within 30 mins-1hr. Very convenient, I wish all consults were this easy!

I am VERY pleased with the results of my Breast Augmentation and Reduction (BAR) performed by Dr. Robert Caridi. I am an African American female age 56. I have very dense breast tissue and my breasts were low and sagged my entire life. I was always very self-conscious about how my breasts looked in bathing suits and other strapless outfits. After having my BAR, I now have the volume, fullness, roundness, and perkiness that I never had! My husband LOVES the new me and so do I! Dr. Caridi far EXCEEDED my expectations!

I chose the IDEAL IMPLANT Structured Breast Implant instead of the silicone gel implant because I was concerned about the cost of MRIs required to detect silicone gel rupture. I was very disappointed in this doctors office. He doesn't accept African American patients. This was my first time experiencing Racist in Austin or in the Plastic Surgery business. But I Thank God for Mia Dr Alvarez in Austin. I was accepted as a patient and was turned away due to my skin color. The doctor's Nurse emailed me back after I asked if my rejection was due to my race. She states my BMI was too high. But I am 160 pounds and 6' tall you do my BMI. So I knew then it was a lie. Again Thank you for showing your true colors. It's a private practice so the doctor can pick his patients. But to lie and say it's my BMI was too high if I get any smaller I will be sick.

Everything about this place is outstanding, the Doctors and staff are great people, since I walked in I got greeted with a smile by everyone I came in contact with, they made me feel at home, and even tho I was nervous about the surgery, everyone made me feel relaxed and made me feel confident, I made the best decision by having my surgery done with Dr Caridi, amazing Doctor, he exceeded my expectations with the outcome of the surgery, I expected a little loose skin since it was a lot of gyno inside and when I took off my vest I was amazed, my chest perfectly aligned and no loose skin at all, i will recommend Dr Caridi to anyone Words can’t explain how happy I am and how my life changed after I came out of that door.

Amazing doctor and staff, everyone in very professional and helpful. Had a rhinoplasty is November everything went so smoothly, Dr. Caridi is very experienced and knows what’s best while giving you the results you want. Dr. Caridi, and all of the ladies in the office, are great! That’s truly an understatement! Let me start with Dr. Caridi. He is honest and straight forward. When I first went in to see him, I wanted him to tell me all of the right things. I wanted him to tell me that I was going to look exactly like the pictures I brought in. Well I didn’t hear that, and I’m glad I didn’t. I heard the truth. He cares about your safety and truly has your best interest at heart, while still providing results that are the best you can get! You will not be disappointed by what he can do. He is going to be honest about what he believes he can achieve, and he will deliver far beyond that! The staff is great. They treat you like they’ve known you forever. The nurses are the sweetest, and very professional. They really go above and beyond what they “have to do”. Maria is the best nurse I’ve ever had. When her day stopped at the office, that didn’t mean she stopped caring. She was there to answer my questions and calm my nerves far past the time she was required to do so. Westlake Plastic Surgery doesn’t just treat you like a customer or patient, they treat you as if you were their family. If you’re researching surgeons, please at least schedule a consultation. Let’s be honest, plastic surgery is there to make you feel great and help you be happier with yourself. Their goal was to help me achieve that, while making sure I was 100% safe. I promise this lengthy review doesn’t give them the credit they deserve!

Gland removal went great, but Dr. Caridi didn’t sculp my chest very well. There is still some fat in my upper chest, near my armpit. It kind of looks weird having a flat chest with fullness in that area. If you’re getting surgery here, be sure to tell him exactly what you want. Other than that, amazing staff and good work.
