Went to dentist on 12/29/23 dentist was Matthew Giselle had an abscess tooth he pulled it I didn't feel anything but pressure very nice dentist and gentle very clean office got me in right away

They seemed nice enough, but they quoted me over $1100 for a deep cleaning and two fillings WITH insurance. I called because there is absolutely no way the percentages or charges are correct; my insurance covers fillings at 90%. I was told 'it was the type of filling' even though my insurance does in fact cover composite fillings. I have too many things to do to argue or sit on hold for hours with insurance/offices, I will find a dentist that can do the procedures 'covered' by my insurance at the right percentage. Thier bill just doesn't make sense, nothing on it is pulling the correct coverage.

This office takes way too long for the initial screening or a simple visit. Be ready for half a day out of your schedule for them to do the x rays. I had to go back to work so I didn't even have time to do my cleaning (which is why I came) and when I went to reschedule I wasn't going to be seen for another 2 months. So you have to book months in advance. Very inconvenient and takes way too long for a simple appointment. Also you had to check in on your phone, I had no service so I asked to do it manually and apparently that is not an option so I had to move my appointment. This place is highly inconvenient and not flexible. I called another office and they were able to see me the next day.

I am so sad to leave Westpoint Modern Dentistry after having excellent service for over 15 years. They just don’t have enough dental hygienists or schedulers that try to get you a sooner appt when rescheduling. It’s extremely hard to get an appt in a reasonable amount of time to get your teeth cleaned. When I’ve needed to change an appt because of work, it’s usually 3 months out for an appt. I ask them to please put me on a waiting list to call when someone cancels, and I’ve NEVER once been called. I’ve had to change my appt 6 times in the last several months because of work. This is absolutely not their fault; however, I have felt they have never tried to get me an appt sooner than 3 months out or call me when someone has cancelled. I definitely feel it just doesn’t matter to them, and it is just disheartening. I loved this place, but it has so changed over the years. It’s time to find another dentist’s office.

I'm 65, have had many dental issues in my life and this was by far the best care ever. Kind and very thorough.

My son has autism and they are the absolute best at working and communicating with him. They are always very kind and patient. They work well with my insurance and I've had no out of pocket costs so far.

If you’re looking for a dental office then look no further! Go to Westpointe Modern Dentistry! I could not be more thankful for everything Dr. Gesell and all of his staff have done! Dr. Gesell & his staff are the BEST around. He has amazing bedside/chair-side manner, and is great with those who have a big fear of the dentist, like myself. He is very knowledgeable and great at explaining every single step of the procedure. Dr. Gesell has a lot of patience and will work to make sure everything is perfect! He is very gentle and gives the best numbing shots around- you hardly feel them! Dr. Gesell & his staff will never rush you out of the office. He will always make sure you are comfortable and that your questions are answered before starting anything. They also do Invisalign with Dr. Krantz and he is great too, I just started it! I also have to brag about the rest of the office and team. They are ALL amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They make sure you are welcomed and they’re very personable - which makes it easier to be there! I could go on and on about how AMAZING their office is, but you should go check them out for yourself! You won’t find a better, more comforting dental team around! Take it from someone who knows and has been to many dental offices in the past. You won’t regret going. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

Westpointe Modern, Dentistry is one of the best dental offices I have been to in a long time. I had to go in and have a temporary crown, a root canal, and then a permanent crown. Dr. Matthew Gisell was the best! His staff was very courteous, friendly, compassionate I would highly recommend their office if you’re looking for a dental clinic, they took such good care of me

This is my second time booking an appointment with Westpointe Dentistry, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience in the past. Which is why I came to see them again.
Today my Dentist was Dr. Matthew Gesell and his unprofessionalism was honestly baffling. His condescending demeanor made me quickly regret opening my mouth. Mind you my hygienist and experience with the cleaning prior went well. In the five minutes I met with him I felt patronized when expressing my concerns about my chipped tooth, and I ultimately did not push my requests further due to the distrust experienced. He then slipped out of the room, without a goodbye or assurance that my needs were met. The front desk was kind enough to book a different provider for my next visit, but I still remained perplexed by this appointment, especially since I too am a health professional who interacts with members of the community. The level of education obtained by our health professionals should warrant professionalism in all aspects of a work environment, especially that of a Dental Office.
