Whataburger, San Antonio TX

This place is always busy. But it is worth the wait. Plus the cashier has the most beautiful eyes.

Always friendly and helpful Staff. Inside is always kept clean. The food definitely never disappoints.

I've yet to order my double meat, double cheese Whataburger, without someone smashing it flat. I've called without positive results. WHY?

I'm officially done with WhatABurger. I had the worst experience I've ever had at a fast food chain. I ordered my meal for curbside and when I arrived at the store, Fernando was collecting the curbside signs. He suggested I go through the drive thru that was packed with about 15 cars. I refused so he unlocked the front door and invited me inside to get my meal. Inside the store was a mess. The floors were covered with fries and food and the trash was overflowing. The manager was running around trying to get all of the orders complete but at least half the staff was bearly moving. I went to the counter and Fernando asked if my order was ready. My order was waiting on the floor because of the many bags they were trying to fill. I realize my food is wrapped by it wasn't the best visual. Next she placed it on the counter next to the fries and asked a girl to verify the order. That girls gave the first girl the finger right in front of me. She then proceeded to give the order a look over and said that it was ready to go. Fernando went and double checked the order and found that it was missing an apple pie and a cookie for the kids meal. He then stated that he had been busy bringing in the curbside signs and was unable to prepare the orders drinks. He said "The cups are next to the soda machine. Go ahead and help yourself. At home, I opened my burger and it looked like it had been leaned on. I asked for it to be cut in half and even that was messed up. (See photos) I know it's tough to always have a perfect experience for the customer when it's busy but this location has only become worse over time. WhatABurger isn't cheap. I can go buy dollar burgers and expect that kind of experience. For now, I think I'll switch to Teddy Bs across the street or The Shack at their new location. It's the same price but better food and experience.

Lady at the drive thru interrupted me saying to hang on when giving my order so she could ask me what I wanted. She interrupted me 3 more times! And in the end, she did not give me what I attempted to order.

This location is bear me. But honestly the last two times I went worst service ever.
1. Was in line for DT 2 weeks ago, employee tells me go inside it's faster. I go in order burger/fries, waited n waited. People who came in 10 mins after me got order first. Cashier says oh I'm sorry they misplaced your order, HOW? They have the monitor in from of them not like its written on a paper with a clothespin hangjng on a string. Took 23 mins for my order.
2. Friday I go back, inside again. I tell the cashier I'll have the single with large fry, she tells me its $11.xx I'm like for a burger n fries, then she tells me well I can't void it. Oh my God are you kidding me AGAIN. I just look at her in disbelief and told her never mind and just went across the street to McDonalds.
Last time I ever go back to this Wburger location.

Always a pleasant experience when we come here. The drive thru is always fast and correct with our order. This is our primary Whataburger we frequent so we are always happy when we come.

Love the Whataburger!

I believe they're the only drive-thru fast food which does NOT mess up the order on purpose.

It was kinda late; however, i just wanted a little burger snack & the whataburger jr. Hit the Spot!

One of the slowest oreder a shake but the time I got mines it was flavored milk ya we won't see me at that location again

This has to be the best Whataburger in the state. The workers greet you when you walk in the door. Kayla Dow the evening manager always comes to the tables. She always ask everyone how was your meal with a warm smile. Great food and awesome service.

They always get my order wrong, staff is very friendly cant complain about that but it would be nice if they where more careful when preparing orders.

They've never gotten my order wrong, at least that I can't recall. The speed of service is phenomenal despite the hours they are busy. I'd much rather eat here than the so called prestigious chick-fil-a, which is overpriced and less band for your buck.

Whataburger is great! There's not much else I can say. Maybe sometimes the burgers are inconsistently made, but they're still delicious. I wish the price was lower, but for what you get, I'd say it's a good value for the money.

We went in the evening n used the drive thru, which was packed. The cashier was very nice n he repeated our order to make sure it was correct.

Clean Place and friendly service. Comparing to other high-priced burger joints, I get better quality and quantity here at Whataburger. I have been to many Whataburgers and so far I haven't had any problems to where I would give them a bad rating.
