Whataburger, San Antonio TX

I’ve been coming to this location for 8 months about once per month - they get the order wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. I give a fresh start each time, I never go with the “expectation” they will mess it up. It’s laughable. Today was the last straw. Never again.

Mobile app charged my card 3 times and the managers did not even make the order correct nor did i get anything refunded i complained on the app and called customer service and still no refund charged me over 70 bucks and i didnt even get my meal it was wrong of ofcourse why have mobile apps if yall cant refund yalls customers or make things right

Well not sure how everyone else's Burger tasted ordered food for myself and two others the only comment I got was the burgers were just okay. I ordered the jalapeno cheeseburger cheeseburger and that was the dries meat I have tasted in a while if I didn't know better I would swear there was plastic inside to meat. The Patty tasted processed and fake only had five little slices of jalapeno wow that made it an awesome awesome Burger, I'm being sarcastic! Came home put it in a electric skillet on low put pepper jack cheese on it and had to put more jalapenos to make it a jalapeno burger. I absolutely hate going to get something to eat and have to come home to doctor it up to make it taste halfway decent! Not going back can't believe, 5 little pieces of jalapeno was not enough to even make a whole jalapeno! Big rip-off horrible food! The onion rings and fries was not worth it at all!

This location has let me down. I usually love Whataburger but this place left me in an uncomfortable and unsatisfied position. The drive through line was packed, all the way to the main road on Grissom. The average wait is about 45 minutes but this time was 1 hour and 17 minutes. To make it faster I ordered on the app and when at the speaker to order, I followed the instructions and let them know it was an online order. When I got to the window they asked me to pay for another meal. They couldn't find my order and said they gave it to someone else. They had to make my order again. The lady at the window was trying to talk our heads off and we saw employees on phones and in groups laughing. There was no sense of irgency or productivity. When they gave us the order we left and was tired of waiting. When we checked our order they had a completely different order, none of it was what we ordered. Instead of going through the drive through or inside after an hour and 45 minutes, we just tried to eat it. The food was cold and tasted undercooked. I usually love Whataburger but this is poor business. I will not be going to this location again and do not recommend it to anyone. I will be looking for a new and reliable location.

Drive thru was extremely long and did not move so went inside to place order. There were many orders ready and just sitting on the counter that were not being given out. There was an angry employee that was very rude to everyone. Employees were standing around playing and joking with each other.

I went to the Whataburger on Culebra Road and tried the new pico de gallo burger and I got serious food poisoning call the manager and told him about it and all he could say was well I’m sorry sir. I had diarrhea for the whole evening I will get some satisfaction and I won’t eat Whataburger ever again and I’ve been eating there for 40 years they just don’t care! Horrible!

Whataburger is my go to place, but the one on 8756 Grissom sold us burnt onion rings. I'm very disappointed i love their onion rings and had to throw my order away today. I don't know how to add pictures of onion rings.

I used curbside delivery and when I went there it only took a few minutes and my food was hot. Mmmm good.

We only ordered a strawberry and a chocolate malt to try them and see if they were as good as we used to get at another place. They Weren't.

Always good always tasty always fine. When I I need a fast food Burger I like going here. They are pretty good at getting the order correct.

They never have the jalapeno biscuits in the morn, when you ask you get attitude and they say " it'll be awhile". Every other store asks if i would like the jalapeno biscuit and have them ready pretty quick.this store is the same thing every single time

I wish I was lying when I said every time I’ve gone they have messed up my order and the awkward placement of restaurant makes for traffic jams could use better location placement and be very successful since their is a great Whataburger location in the area

Best in the West, but the staff is atrocious. Always! They run the place like a government housing slum.

This was a good location. It was rush hour so order took a little longer than usual. But order was correct, food was fresh. Good job

I had not eaten inside Whataburger in awhile but this week we decided to eat inside. To my surprise the employees were Super nice and it was spotless with welcoming atmosphere.

Can't wait to go back!

My favorite Whataburger! Been going here since my high school days in the mid ninties. Burgers are always cooked perfectly and made to order.

"Most" of the staff was good. I however do not appreciate waiting because the high school staff is slow. As for the manager, hr should pay attention rather than accuse his 1 staff member of something, he did, not her. I called him out on that too in her defense. The place is usually, kinda dirty too.

One of my favorite restaurants but the smell of meat inside the restaurant is annoying. Its better to go there for only take out and order by your car.

Hector one of the store managers goes beyond the duty of any manager. He cares for his customers greets them by name and is willing to do anything to put a smile on their faces. One happy Whatabuger customer.

Chicken strips we're aaight the onion rings had funny taste but I can say the fries were nice & fresh
