Whataburger, San Angelo TX

Late dinner. Great young lady taking orders. Greeted everyone politely. Food was very good

Today the employee pronounced my name “Ray-kwell” I thought that was funny. Out of the 3 whataburger establishments in San Angelo, this one is my 2nd choice.

As pure Texans, my wife and I love What-A-Burger. For whatever reason, I feel that service is getting to an all-time low. We ordered online and opted for curbside. The app said that our dinner would be ready by 5: 14. Fast forward 30 minutes, and we are still in the parking lot. I decided to go in and ask if they received our order. I could see my name on the screen and it was hi-lited in red. The lady pulls my bags out from a bottom shelf and goes to get fries. She comes back and gives me cups and says, "Go get your drinks. " I hate to give a 1 star rating for service, but it is the same going through the drive thru. At least this time, the Dr. Pepper shake was available. The last few times I had gone, something was wrong with the ice cream machine. I was afraid that McDonald's might have taken over!

Here we are on the 4th of July, just having finished our lunch that I had ordered online to be picked up. We show up a few minutes late, and to everyone's surprise, our order isn't ready, or it couldn't be found. Everybody was confused. At one point, a confused looking manager came from out of nowhere and said, "Check the hole. " At this point, 4 staff are reaching over each other searching several bags. The only way I can describe the scene is to imagine WWE Gator Wrestling, or professional cat wrangling.

This gave me time to survey the scene, and I tell you, this place is nasty. There is trash over flowing behind the register, and something smeared down the wall. Everyone was in panic mode, and it was 11: 20. The lunch rush hadn't started. There was no one in the drive-thru. It was way too chaotic for nothing going on, but I will give you this, the staff were nice!

HORRIBLE SERVICE, WAITED 30 MINUTE WHILE EVERYONE ELSO GOT THEIR FOOD. WENT HOME FOR THEM TO FORGET AN ITEM THAT HAD PAYED FOR. WENT BACK AND WAITED ANOTHER 30 MINUTES NOW IM EATING MY FRIES AND BURGEE COLD. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE WAIT.

Worst service ever,
Decided to order inside due to drive through been packed; it took over 20 minutes to get the food, while over 15 orders on the drive through were dispatched. There were x2 other customers before me waiting for their orders inside too.
When received the food, fries were cold; employee asked if there was a problem and i stated that besides the wait it will give cold food. He stated it was warmed, for which i corrected him and stated it was not and that by prior experience working on fast food chains some of the food they had stacked should have been discarded also. Employee stated not all the fast foods are or work the same; for which my last statement was “ that’s not a fast food regulation is OSHA “ stacked food for long period of time should be discarded to avoid bacteria.
Left and when open the ordered food, Guess what! It was made wrong.
Long wait, cold food, wrong order, uneducated employees.great combination!

Who doesn't love Whataburger? I think the issue with the one on Sherwood is that it's always so busy and the drive-thru is always packed with a line of cars. Sometimes food is cold or just thrown together.

Sometimes what you order is good and sometimes not at all. Sometimes the place is clean and sometimes not at all!

This can be a really busy location, but when I was there, the employees were working really hard to get everyone taken care of. My food came out pretty quickly and was delicious.

Incredibly nice! I ordered online tonight 6.10.23. It was provided ontime with amazing customer service! The current team is on point! Can't wait to order again and support them!

The slowest drive thru service on the planet the 4 cars in front of me in and out I was surprised but then after waiting 20 plus minutes after paying they finally brought me the order for the next customer in line when they'd wandered about aimlessly then informed me they had refunded my purchase price and would have to charge my card again with no explanation as to why any of this had happened.long story short late for work boss not happy stopped in plenty of time to buy breakfast and be on time thank whataburger for making my Monday a MONDAY NEVER EATING THERE AGAIN

Almost every time I go to this Whataburger there are multiple items missing. Today I had multiple things missing and when I asked about it, one employee looked at me weird then went back to what she was doing before another employee helped me. If the Bryant or Knickerbocker locations were more convenient to get in and out of, I'd go there because they don't have this problem. It would take almost no effort to have an employee double-check an order before pushing it out. It's not all bad though, food was still Whataburger and the employees, other than the aforementioned one, were friendly

Wowie! This extremely busy Whataburger did an outstanding job of getting our order 100% accurate.

Had a gift card. Placed one order 2 burgers 2 fries. Came to 21.60 or 16.
So handed gift card and $10 to cashier.
Asked ease take difference out of the bill sorry I didnt have anything smaller. So.
She took one burger out of gift card and one out of the $10. I dont expect to find rocket scientists working at whataburger but I was speechless. Her saving grace was that the drive thru was busy.
The food as always was great.

I like Whataburger but this time they got my order wrong. I ordered lunch for my employees
. Two of the four orders they got wrong. Didn't know it till I took them to the office. I didn't call and report it as it was too much trouble. Wish they would be more careful. It's the Whataburger on Sherwood and Arden intersection in San Angelo.

It's just like every other fast food place, except it takes twice as long to get the wrong order.

This place we sat in the drive thru after ordering over 15 mins. I know we normally have to wait at least 5 or 6 at any whataburger. Then the food wasn't that great. The cheese wasn't even melted.
