Whispering Creek used to be a good place to leave. However, since the management changed, the facilities have deteriorated. The gate NEVER works, and I always see vagrants walking around. And the new managers are not prompt in their response to services. It is not worth the price to live here.

I toured with Karly and she was so knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
When I’m ready to move I’m definitely coming back here.

Gate was broken for months, crime has gotten much worse, bug problem in the apartments despite maintenance requests, and they charged us an insane amount after moving out.

100% would recommend this complex based on the service alone so far! Karly has been fantastic to work with. Moving in next week after dealing with a nightmare living at a nearby community. The staff here is a breath of fresh air, and you can tell they really care about maintaining the community. Will update my review after I move in, however I’m sure it will stay the same based on the service I’ve received so far.

Karly Booth was wonderful help while we are on the hunt for our new apartment. She made our tour super fun, and really sold this apartment complex. We are still searching, but thanks to Karly, we are keeping whispering creek villas at the top of our list.

Don't rent here. I just moved out. Waited to post this review hoping the moveout process would somehow go well and I would at least be able to say that. It did not. Both apartments I had while living here had a musty/mold smell I could never get rid of. I had to drain, bleach out mold, and remove wads of hair from the dishwasher when I moved in.after I swept off the nail clippings from the counter and shampooed the rug that wasn't even vacuumed. We were without an oven/stove for at least the first two weeks (maybe first month) we lived there. We also had issues with roaches and had to have pest control come multiple times. We still had roaches when we moved out. The pool was broken most of the summer with no compensation from the apartment. The gym AC was out for an extended time with no compensation or even updates. The gate is frequently broken and there were vehicle break-ins in the parking lot. The gate to the mailroom was also broken for a while and we had mail stolen from our mailbox which was used to open fraudulent accounts in our names. Maintenance repaired 2 LARGE sections of drywall in our apartment and never came back to repaint. They also replaced the thermostat and never came back to repair the sheetrock around that but they charged us on move out because we didn't sand down the nail holes we puttied. If for some reason you are forced to rent here, take photos of all the damage, dirt, and dingy paint when you move in. Literally every.single.thing. Your inventory sheet will not be enough. Keep copies of all your emails to and from the apartment. Take screenshots of any correspondence sent through their messaging system and never do anything over the phone. Always communicate in writing.
Would seriously recommend spending your luxury apartment money on an actual luxury apartment.
On a positive note, they are polite while they are taking your money.
Renter beware.

Don't listen to the negative reviews as this complex is great for the location and price. Admittedly we have dealt with a ton of maintenance issues, but the RPM Maintenance team is always quick to respond and repair/replace the appliances. The RPM management team all seem to be great but Karly specifically helps us out a lot. She responds to emails very quickly and always seems eager to assist us. This apartment complex is older and has its issues from time to time, but is overall a great place to live and well managed.

This place just keeps getting worse and worse. The front gates are always broken, whether it’s the ones you enter or exit from. The door to get into the mailroom has been broken for months now, and there have been reports of stolen mail. There goes everyone’s safety and security. For most of the summer, the pool was off limits, but thankfully, it’s finally available to use. They didn’t even bother to waive our amenities fee for the time being. Now, the gym’s AC hasn’t been working for WEEKS! It’s literally 90+ degrees in there. People have mentioned of submitting maintenance requests to fix it weeks ago as well, and it still hasn’t been fixed. They haven’t even sent out a notice letting us know if they’re working on it or anything. Again, haven’t bothered to waive our amenities fee as a courtesy. This complex has been dealing with an infestation of German cockroaches for weeks as well, and it hasn’t been fixed because I’m still getting cockroaches, regardless of pest control coming to spray. They take forever to attend to maintenance requests, and I don’t know why. AGAIN, they haven’t bothered to send out a notice apologizing for the delays. It’s just a totally dump. Not even worth the amount of rent we’re paying, but obviously, there’s a contract, so we’re stuck here. I can’t wait to leave!

Lived here for years and they keep changing mangment with no intention on helping established renters. We just moved out and they are not giving our deposit back (and our pet deposit) and charging us an outstanding move out fee of about $400 stating we never paid utilities for months (even though we always pay and have proof!) and charing us for past management issues like mold, water damage that we have been asking to fix up since day one. Even though we kept everything clean and never broke any lease rules, they say they dont honor any past management, yet we never renewed a new lease with said new management. All they do is say call a number that hangs up on you as soon as it rings. Dont waste your time on this complex.

Avoid this place at all costs. Lived here for years and has been bought out by different management companies multiple times and keeps getting worse. RPM is the current company and after we moved out they charged us close to a thousand dollars in added fees with exhorbitant prices, eating up our entire deposit and sending us an extra bill. They will not work with you or discuss any charges. They give you a phone number from a different team to discuss any questions which are not on site. If you call I was told I was the first caller in line and they still didn't pick up. Hanged up on me and a message said the expected wait time was 48 hours! Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

Keep in mind I’m holding back issues…. Just in case new management wants to comment! Yes we in the medical center. Yes I paid my rent on time. We have new owners but none of my appliances work. Well most of them. Prior management switched out my washer and dryer‘s before I moved in. My clothes are still dirty, my dryer doesn’t dry well. It takes 3 times to dry. I never used the dish washer since it’s me. One of my friend after dinner tired to used it and food we didn’t even eat was on my plates… yes I bleached it. Bleached everything when I moved in. It’s been 3 months! I’m over it. Yes my neighbor have complained about not having air conditioning.
I will be more then happy to come to the office and have a conversation with you all on a day I have off. When did you try to contact me? I’m what way? Luv?

I will say you tried to fix the washer and dryer it still has the same problem

Do not rent here. This place was just bought by a new company, RPM living. They have refused to return my security deposit of over $1000 nearly 2 months after I moved out. They also owe me other money. I have received no explanation for why I haven't received my security deposit back. I have tried talking to the manager, Tori about it but recently she has stopped even replying to my emails. RPM living are crooks. Do not rent here unless you want to have your money stolen from you

Edit 06/22/2022:
It has now been 9 weeks since I vacated my apartment and have not yet received my refund, which is in violation of the lease I signed that states that landlords must return the security deposit within 30 days. RPM has twice tried to refund me several hundred dollars less than they owe me thanks to their "accountants" who must've gone to The University of How to Rip Off Working Class People.
RPM living is a really dodgy business with criminal practices and the manager is very rude. I reiterate, do not rent here
