I like the venue and the collection of artists they host. The place seems clean/well maintained, and everything seems to run smoothly. The staff were friendly. I recently attended for Broken Social Scene, which was held downstairs (indoors). I was pretty disappointed by the audio mixing. Vocals were terribly drowned out; I even observed other attendees trying to get the sound guy’s attention to this issue to no avail. Hope this isn’t a persistent issue.

Currently watching a show by the indoor downstairs stage. This is awful. This place is the size of a classroom and yet there is NO good view of the stage. I even went to the second floor but with even one row of people in front of you, your view of the stage is nonexistent. I was looking forward to this show for a long time but instead I’m miserable and bored. Plus there’s NO air conditioning that you can feel on the first floor, and I paid $25 for two very tiny watered down drinks. I won’t be back.

Parking is the #1 issue. You can park downtown and take Uber cheap. However, if there is a football or baseball game going on the same night, parking will be hard to find or you will pay an inflated rate in one of the garages. Otherwise, street parking in downtown is free after 6: 00 p.m. I believe They put the bar here in a horrible place right at the entrance. So you have a lot of cross traffic while waiting in line. Inside the venue is kind of small and they seem to have air conditioning issues. Definitely not one of my favorite venues. I would rank it medium low.

Had a fun time at the Cannon's concert here at the White Oak Music Hall. They entertain both Inside and Outside events here. This was an Inside event and was packed! Luckily we found a good spot upstairs to stand early and enjoyed the show. If you moved, you were likely to lose your spot quickly! Inside events usually have plenty of Parking. Parking Lot was right across the road and Hotels are nearby. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and walked to the venue.which was maybe 3 blocks. Drinks were EXPENSIVE! Two beers were $35 without tips. There was a bar upstairs and downstairs. Restrooms were downstairs only and never had to wait. Temperature inside was decent but a little warm. A couple of degrees cooler would've been Amazing.

Really wanted to like this place but they clearly overbooked the Cannons concert. There was nowhere to stand and the AC was either not working or turned off. Horrible atmosphere. We wound up leaving because there was such poor planning.

Great venue in up and coming area. Just north of DT Houston and you can see the business construction all around. Near the Heights

First time here was for Matt and Kim and this was the venue in all of Houston. I love that they have a balcony level too.

Someone needs to train their staff on ADA before someone sues them into bankruptcy for discrimination.

This is late but I went to see boygenius back in June. I purchase balcony seating, the most expensive option. There was too many people booked for the balcony that they didn’t have enough seating, and the many of the chairs were broken and wobbling, and they squished the chairs together so that you had to squeeze your body and ask everybody in the row to get out of the row and let you to your chair (which was most likely broken). I can’t believe how terribly they treat genuine paying fans of artists, it will be the decline of touring artists because of how disgustingly money hungry these venues are to fans.

Excellent venue, sound was great. Bar had cold beer, I think it is cashless, credit cards only, all goodnit the cheapest, but nit the most expensive either. Toilets were clean.
Parking is very limited, especially if multiple bands are playing, locals will charge ~$20 to use their driveways, not terrible if you are used to attending other bigger venues.

Fun little venue with good views of the indoor stage from all over. Saw First Aid Kit and had a blast.

I booked the Balcony A for the Tenacious D Spicy Meatball tour. It was absolutely worth it. We missed out on booking parking, but we were able to find close parking for $30.00. It was well worth it. The doors opened at 5: 30, we arrived at 4: 15 and was first in line for the *upgraded* seats. The employees at the gate were wonderful. They scanned in two people in wheelchairs and one of their friends before us. That definitely needs to be mentioned that the employees made sure they were accommodated before us. I appreciate that they did that.

The balcony was really hot up there when we arrived. We sat near one of the fans, but it honestly didn't help until the sun went down.
The bathroom and the bar area were great. The seats upstairs in the balcony need some updating. I seen a chair break and some of them were wobbly. The bartender was very nice and made really good drinks.
Also my husband and I sat next to two reserved seats. It wasn't until later we found out why they were reserved. A man had a stroke a year or so back, he emailed the venue about the seats and asked what time he needed to be there, and instead of telling him what time, they made sure two seats were reserved for him. This right here deserves to be recognized! That is some great service. - for the customer service.

Wonderful outdoors venue. The facilities are clean, the staff are polite, the food is reasonable. The sound quality is fantastic.

Nice venue. I hate being outside in Houston in any time of the year except maybe the fall and spring lol The overall layout and comfort of the outside venue though is pretty nice, and the sound quality is like listening to something and your headphones so bravo. Your bathroom suck though fix the bathrooms! Only one sink works lol

Just left the venue two songs in, I love the vibes and the bartenders, but please install some fans on the walls or something just in case the A/C won’t be on. No reason to be dripping sweat at a show with nothing to help out, no A/C orrrr fans.

Parking is atrocious. Didn't see anywhere online to buy prepaid Parking and the site was no help. I was told, "You can park in a that neighborhood over there, there might be some parking" finally found a lot a out 2 blocks away for $30. Probably won't be back.

Hardly any AC in the downstairs venue. It was so hot that people were getting sick, myself included. I will only be returning if the artist/band is playing outside (and in cooler months). The heat in HTX is no joke and this venue did not take it seriously enough. It ruined my experience.
The workers were incredible. I felt content with their directions.

I waited seven years for a proper Senses Fail show. White Oak Music Hall is awful. People smoking weed with kids around despite the pre entry pat down. I have a hair test coming up for a new job and I won’t be surprised if I fail due to this. Not only that but the bartender I got drinks from tipped herself before turning the screen for me to sign. To top it off, Senses Fail couldn’t even be heard. I was in the front row and could obviously hear the instrumentals but I couldn’t hear Buddy Neilson for a single second. I sang louder than him from the crowd. All that being said, Thousand Below really brought their A-Game. They put on a better show than Senses Fail. Which was pretty disappointing considering I came to see Senses Fail. All in all it was a terrible experience and I will not be returning to this venue ever again. If you have children, I wouldn’t bring them here. If you have a good job dependent on being clean, I wouldn’t go here. If you’re gonna have a separate show called “Bongzilla” where people will obviously be bringing weed, I highly recommend doing that show outside. Or getting better staff that will actually check people. Not everybody smokes weed. Some of our jobs depend on not getting high, and we should be able to go out and have a good time too without worrying about something like that. Circling back to the bartender: I can’t believe the audacity they had to tip themselves, especially when I paying quadruple for what the drinks worth. I was going to tip anyway, but on principle that’s absolutely rude and unacceptable. I’ve been to dozens of concerts and have to say this was the worst venue I’ve ever been to. White Oak Music Hall is very unprofessional and discourteous. 0/10.
