Arrived on surgery day to a calm pleasant atmosphere, and friendly faces. No hurry, hustle, or stress. Taken in and prepped almost immediately. Received sedation, no pain, and was walking out in about an hour. This is professionalism at its very best. This is solid, gold medal Dentistry. The only better service you could get, would be to not need dental services at all. Thank You' all!

Dr. Bourland removed my wisdom teeth. The initial consult went smoothly. The staff was very friendly and took their time to answer all my questions. Dr. Bourland gave me the rundown of my options and explained why it would be best for me to have them removed (I had a persistent infection). I mentioned not wanting any opioids/narcotics and they had options for both sedation and aftercare pain meds that were non-narcotic. Taryn explained the billing and insurance process to me and went out of her way to double check my health insurance in addition to the dental insurance so see if health would offer any additional coverage toward my extractions or sedation. Scheduling was easy. They always answer the phone. Surgery day went smoothly. The dental assistants were very friendly and kind. The anesthesiologist was great and worked well with my fear of needles. When I woke up they were very helpful in giving me and my partner thorough aftercare instructions and helping me to the car. My only disappointment was that I wanted to keep my teeth and they got mistakenly thrown away in the process. Post surgery, I called them a couple times for advise and they were helpful over the phone and asked me to come in if the concern was still present the next day. Their initial advise worked and I did not have to go back in. Laster, I discovered that my insurance covered more than expected, and Taryn was very timely in processing my refund. The whole office made me feel very comfortable and always answered my questions. I would highly recommend Whiterock Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Great experience in every way. Dr. Bourland, Taryn and Brittany are outstanding! They were incredibly gentle and respectful with my very elderly father. Dr. Bourland was able to extract the remainder of a broken tooth on the day of our first appointment. We were very thankful for this because it saved us the time and effort to get my mobility-challenged father out for a second appointment. The new office space is easy to find and to get in to; very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs oral surgery!

The nurses were very knowledgeable in explaining the procedure and recovery to me in depth during the consultation. She was very patient answering my many questions. The doctor was friendly and honest about the difficulty of my extraction. Pre-surgery the doctor noticed I was nervous and tried to help calm me with some jokes, which I appreciated, although I couldn’t laugh much. After the surgery the nurse explained more to my husband about post surgery care. Then she helped me walk to and get into our car to leave. The office gives a lot of instructions for recovery that’s split by day.

They are a wonderful group who makes you feel at ease! I hate having mouth work done but this group makes it a lot easier when you do!

This practice is fantastic! You are treated as royalty from the front desk to the exam room. Dr. Bourland is very thorough, conscientious, and fair. I was referred to him by my dentist for an opinion on the structure of my jaw effecting my bite. He could have easily recommended surgery to make the adjustments recommended, but he indicated that I had been living with the bite for nearly 70 yrs and said the incremental benefit of surgery would be minor at this time. The office staff and surgeon Dr Bourland are amazing and so caring. Once they saw what my issue was, they were able to get me in as soon as possible. I was up and pain free the very next day! Love this staff!

I would highly recommend Whiterock Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I had my 4 wisdom extracted Wednesday by Dr Bourland. They are very professional, friendly and made the entire process super easy. My Anesthesiologist was amazing I did not feel any discomfort and I was so comfortable after the procedure. I can’t recommend this group enough.

Excellent surgeon. Did a root canal and implant for me, both of which were painless. Costs were clearly stated up front. Great support staff.

Dr Bourland is the dental surgeon you can really trust. He is highly professional and kind and caring and also has an excellent staff, which is also very important.
They are using top of the line equipment and the offices are nice and quiet.

Dr Borland and his staff are simply amazing. I have a HUGE fear of dentists, and they were so kind to me. Dr Bourland put me at ease immediately and took the time to explain everything. I'm going in for my 2nd procedure on Friday and I'm barely nervous. His office manager, Taryn, is just as wonderful. She's so kind and helpful. If you need oral surgery this is the place to go.

I only called to schedule an appointment and received the worse customer service ever. The secretary answering the phone assumed I would be paying with Medicaid or Medicare. Wow, I nevvvvver play the race card, but that was truly suspicious.

Dr Bourland is awesome he always makes your visit as pain free as possibly. He truly cares about how you feel and makes sure you are ok before leaving his office. Highly recommend him.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out and the process went real smooth, I was nervous but Dr Bourland talking to me and whatnot made me feel reassured. I don’t remember much but it was an overall experience that I’m glad I don’t ever have to do again.
