Nice store, but the parking was $7 and I only shopped here for about 15 minutes. Not worth the price to park.

The store itself was fine. My issue was with checkout. The store is not equipped to manage Google Pay nor Samsung Pay, and it has discontinued paying through Amazon Prime. Every time I tried to run my Mastercard as credit, the self checkout kiosk wouldn't allow me to do so; it kept asking for a pin, and wouldn't bypass that screen. I was told to go to in-person checkout, where the same thing happened. The cashier was not helpful AT ALL. She kept telling me what she couldn't do, but offered ZERO insight into how we could resolve the issue. When she finally asked another person for assistance, they only knew about Apple Pay. I'm not the only non- iPhone user in the world.

There has to be a better understanding of checkout when trying to pay by phone. I had no o there method of payment - when I tried to use my personal credit card through Google Pay, the machines kept glitching. It was HUMILIATING standing there trying to pay for a single cupcake and getting 0 feedback from anyone that works there. Why would I return to a place that doesn't value every person and their transactions? It was like the cashier was just hoping I would say nevermind and leave without my item.

**Edit**
The very impersonal response the business just gave me mirrors the lack of care and empathy shown in the store. I doubt anything will change.

This location leaves much to be desired relative to other Whole Foods Markets in Austin. The cashiers don’t remember to give customers their bag discount, “fresh” items are dated as packed days ago, and Team Members aren’t as friendly. As a former culture champion who has since left the company, it saddens me to see the lack of customer service and values at this store. I am neither satisfied nor delighted when shopping here and would rather drive 20 minutes out of the way to go to another location.

The self checkout was horrible, should many quick and easy but did not. Would not scan my Prime code from the app or let me pay contactless with my Fitbit. Frustrating. Good thing they make delicious brown butter chocolate chip cookies

We all know Whole Foods isn't known for its low prices, but the sales are pretty good. I got some really decent cuts of steaks and fresh fruits the last couple of visits. I think the service is excellent with plenty of options from each grocery department. The free parking is convenient as well.

This store is awful. Cheesy, lazy & pathetic. This store most definitely DOES NOT SATISFY THE CUSTOMER.

It's a scaled down version of the larger stores but has a decent selection. Parking is plentiful and easy to use.

I went to the one on N Lamar literally every single day. Now that I’m on the east side I go to this one.

People are helpful. It’s the selection that is disappointing.

Yesterday afternoon no fresh sandwiches. Just bought probiotic beverages that were expired I later found out. The buffet is always unappealing and extremely limited in offerings. And the prepped stuff in the fridge in produce (ie fresh cut fruit) often near expiration and very limited in options.

Significantly worse since Amazon takeover and pandemic. Bad for employees, bad for customers. The amount of plastic packaging has increased significantly, precisely at a time when corporations should be acting more responsibly, helping consumers reduce waste. However, the produce and meat is still better than alternatives, meaning I shop there regularly.

Smaller, more personal experience.
Sadly, they removed the Costa coffee machine; replaced by Urns, but they are empty. And low on staff- no one at flowers, no one at front desk.

Good location. Parking is free with validation.

We bought a bunch of food and drinks for a house we were renting for the week. Staff was awesome getting us out the door. Gent in the pharmacy area was particularly good at helping me find random stuff I needed.

Came in with my ESA who's in training to be a therapy service animal and was chased down by a man who clearly was having a tough day. Without qualifying if she was a service animal this gentlemen asked us to leave and started explaining that dogs have been a huge issue.

You'd think he would've known that I knew the rules considering the giant sign when you walk in to the store but once again he didn't validate any information.

This bearded man bun individual was very aggressive with his approach to the situation. I would've expected a more professional decorum from someone who appeared to be a manager.

As a side note, I live in the apartments right above this location and have gone in many MANY times with no issues. I've even had discussions with the front door security about my pup to ensure it wasn't an issue.

Very disappointed with this, considering this location is where I spend $400-600 a month for all my (and my pups) needs.

I work in the area and stop by frequently. The vegetables here are either amazing or absolutely horrible. Sometimes Target has fresher produce. I also am appalled at the prices of the prepaired foods. I get it, inflation. I got a buffalo chicken wrap that had almost nothing in it. It was basically just a bunch of lettuce in a tortilla. The price tuna salad was laughable. It's all enough to just go to HEB.

So many wonderful options here, especially for a smaller store. The bulk section had everything I wanted, including name brand (Lundber) rice! I was thrilled to find a 3-gallon water container here at the same price as Natural Grocers.

Also, the padtry/dessert selection was surprisingly large too. Hard to say no to expresso eclairs! The only thing I couldn't find was my favorite prebiotic drink: lemon ginger Kevita, and that's probably because they were out.

It was my first visit here, and I was thankful that parking was relatively easy and validated.
