Widowmaker Trail Rides, Southlake TX

Went here for a birthday weekend celebration and glad we did. David was our guide and he was amazing. His detailed orientation made us feel like we actually knew what we were doing. He makes sure you feel comfortable controlling your horse & understanding the horses. Was a very nice & scenic trail, lots of trees, greenery & the lake was beautiful. The horses were also amazing and so well trained! I had freckles who followed all the commands given and when we did trail behind freckles knew exactly where to go and freckles even got to close the gate behind everyone. Honestly a great experience and highly recommend to anyone looking for a trail ride

I texted David about a horse ride and he rearranged his schedule so that I could ride at the time I requested. When I arrived him and his beautiful wife made me feel right at home. It was a fabulous day and time to ride. He was amazingly exceptional with his knowledge with horses. His horses were also very beautiful. I really enjoyed my time and will be back again to ride. Highly recommend. Oh, and he also took pictures throughout the trail ride. I loved the scenery and the lake views with the horses as well.

My husband brought me here today for my birthday and I loved the experience. The owner, David, is exceptional with his service and his instructions. The horses are beautiful and well tamed. I have not ridden a horse in 20+ years and I did well. The trail is beautiful as well. Highly recommend.

We had a beautiful evening ride. It was our second time riding with y'all, and I know we will be back again. The horses have such fun personalities, the trails are varied, and stopping at the lake is always fun. Plus, we saw a few deer along the way which is always exciting to me

David provided us with a wonderful experience. He was personable throughout our trail ride. The horses were calm and great with every skill level, the scenery was beautiful and David made sure to catch pictures of us on the ride. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Texas!

My family and I had a wonderful time with David and his horses. We rode different beautiful trails and terrains, the scenery was awesome, and David was a wonderful and patient, but through instructor.

We reached out to David for availability for our girls' trip, he was quick to respond, very informative and offered to call if that was easier. When we arrived, David went over everything throughly so everyone felt comfortable before heading out! The trail was great for all levels!
