Wildflour Artisan Bakery & Grill reviews
18How many times can you say that a restaurant exceeds your expectations in every way. My wife and I go out to local restaurants around New Braunfels and surrounding area. Wildflower is comforting from walking in the door to the wonderful choices on the menu to service and beyond. I regret that I can only give 5 stars.
Lots of really good food on the menu. I loved the salmon burger. With t heir special potato
Quail poppers were amazing, as was the Bison burger. Staff and atmosphere were amazing. Definitely coming back.
If you want a hole in the wall place along your travels with good food, service, and prices I can recommend this place enough! It's one of the best restroom in the hill country. Very unique.
Not worth the long wait, fuzz in our dessert and the worst was our waitress had body odor so bad we thought we were going to throw up. Take a bath!
Worth the wait! The smoked turkey club is awesome, incredible service and everyone left full and happy!
They are always cooking up the favorites on the menu and then running delicious specials for breakfast, lunch, and dinner most days.
Terrific breakfast, coffee was good. Main server was ok at best but 2 other servers from other tables offered coffee, water, and additional order which more than made up for absence of our hostess.
They have the best Philly Steak sandwich ever! It isn't totally traditional but is amazing. Server was friendly and efficient with food arriving quickly. It's a bit loud but we were still able to have a conversation without needing to yell at each other. Prices are excellent for the quality of the food. Wish they had a location in Spring Branch!
WIldflour Artisan Bakery & Grill offers a wide choice of menu items. A large group of us ate brunch outside on a Sunday. The food was delicious! We all tried each other's meals and agreed they were all fantastic! Outdoor seating was comfy and the inside decor is warm and inviting with live music. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Overall, very pleased with Wildflour food and service and would highly recommend!
The food was a bit slow, but worth the wait. Service was top notch. The flexibility with indoor/outdoor seating was nice. I have to mention there was an overwhelming FOUL smell outside that smelled of pure sewer. I can't dock them for that because it's out of their control.
Bottom line: I recommend and will come back again but sit inside next time.
Servers are always cheerful and attentive, never rushing a customer. Atmosphere and decor are uniquely country chic and the food is always fresh, hot, delicious and so affordable, too!
Loved this place! Food and service were wonderful! Atmosphere was charming! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Fantastic Artisan bakery! Was in town from San Antonio for the weekend and saw this place on a lot of breakfast/brunch recommendations. It definitely lived up to the hype. Omelettes were tasty and a sizable portion. The homemade biscuits were incredible. Stop here for a hearty breakfast!
Best breakfast ever!
This cafe is absolutely wonderful. It's a local favorite, hot spot for tourists, and travelers from all over. They have an excellent menu, and a fantastic bakery of delicious cakes, kolaches, and pastries of all kinds! My personal favorite is the morning muffin. They are amazing with a latte. Stop on by and try the place out. You will love it!
My wife and I have gone here once a week for a long time. Always great, until recently.something has changed and not for the better.
A few weeks ago we went for breakfast. We sat there for almost 50 min waiting on our food, watching group after group that came in 10-15 min after we did, get their food, eat and leave. Yet we still sat there with no food. The waiter apologized and said it would be right out. 10 minutes later, still no food so we walked out.
We thought, anyone can make a mistake, so we went back again this morning. Only 3 tables of customers, very slow am. Once again we ordered and sat there for 45 min. A group came in 15 min after we ordered, got their food ate and were getting the bill before we finally got our food nearly a full hour after ordering an omelette!
Sad to say we are done. A once a week staple in our lives is over. No one even apologized for the wait or tried to explain why orders after our kept coming out while we waited.
Really like this place! Lots of options, good food, and tons of delicious desserts! We also go for a coffee break, with a sweet!
