After an employment dispute with one of my previous employers, I sought legal representation to recover the damages. After some exhaustive research, I contacted Kalandra Wheeler with Wiley Wheeler, P. C.in Houston, TX. It is one of the best decisions that I could have made given the circumstances. From the initial meeting until resolution, Kalandra was extremely professional and kind and always focused on the facts of my case and worked quickly to outline our strategy. I should also point out that before I contracted with Wiley Weeeler, P. C. I had already met with another attorney who started my case but said early on that I did not have a case worth pursuing which was extremely frustrating. Knowing that I wanted to press on, I parted ways with the first attorney and started working exclusively with Kalandra. My case had many ups and downs and at times was emotionally exhausting. Kalandra was persistent throughout and never gave up on me or my case. She has an acute sense of detail and really drills down to the relevant facts needed to prove the case. With Texas and Georgia lawyers combined, I had spoken to 38 employment lawyers. ALL 38 said to contact them back if there was a change to my employment (fired or I quit). Then I found Julie St. John. She listened to my situation and understood why I would not want to leave my job but also agreed better working conditions were necessary. She made it possible for me to retain employment doing a job I love and am great at while being allowed to be ME! At work safely, without a daily threat of loosing my job. The outcome has superseded my expectations! I would call her the David of the legal world that is not afraid of Big Business Goliaths.

Well these reviews are here for a reason. I only wish I would have taken heed to ones I read well over two years ago.

When I hired this firm Tamecia Glover was still employed there. Why she left I don’t know. But I do know $5,000 dollars and two years later this firm failed.

To make matters even worse the only time ever having a conversation with Rob Wiley was via video conference. And even a year into my case his stance was verbally expressed that OSHA planned to dismiss.

Here we are a year later while working out of state the Rob Wiley law firm in a care of Kelandra Wheeler made it very easy to announce to me my case was dismissed.

Even when Zachry Industrial decides mitigation in Aug. 2018 after I would not settle for the one sided non existing proposition Kelandra Wheeler was very lost for words and had a look on her face of defeat due to me not settling for what ever # I am confident they had pre determined amongst parties.

Nevertheless, the faith of my case was decided long ago when dealing with this firm.

It is my professional opinion just as they have wasted my time, deprived my resources, and played devils advocate for Zachry Industrial they will do the same if the opportunity arises during course of representing you.

My case was a cut and dry case. Wrong was wrong and it revealed itself in black and white and even then a so called Bar certified firm in employment cases they dropped the ball. In my opinion intentionally.

Do not waste your time, your families time, money, faith, and one ounce of trust with this firm.

As of this date I still have not received my file with any and all communications that they had with the respondent. I lost well over $45,000 out of my own pocket not to mention my loss wages during this situation.

Save your self from this. Find a firm with integrity, honesty, and compassion for there clients not one such as the Rob Wiley Law firm.

This edit is a follow up from my previous review. Again my recommendation to anyone needing an attorney speacilizing in employment SHOULD NOT hire the ROB WILEY LAW FIRM.

As mentioned prior I had not received my case file. As a result, today Attorney Wheeler replied by mailing to me a half hearted attorney client file.

This file only reflects up until the mediation process that took place on 08/2018.

As mentioned while I was away on a work assignment in North Carolina, Attorney Wheeler contacted me via email to advise that my appeal against Zachry Industrial to OSHA and from OSHA was dismissed. Please note notice received (via email) looks very shoddy.

Additionally, the half hearted file provided does not contain NOT ONE (1) shred of documentation pertaining to the appeal, communication regarding the appeal from OSHA or a letter on behalf of OSHA filing and responding to said Appeal.

Again do not HIRE the ROB WYLIE LAW FIRM. You will waste money, your families money, and your intelligence will be played with.

My request was done respectfully, patiently, and ROB WYLIE had more than ample time to provide my entire file, it’s documented process, and all communication between OSHA, Zachry Industrial, and the ROB WYLIE (firm) office.

And I receive a file half hearted pieced together file that only provides documentation up to and pertaining to the so called mediation we had.

This falls below poor attorney client service. I can not state this enough. DO NOT HIRE THE ROB WYLIE LAW FIRM very very sketchy,
