Window World of Austin

Wesley and Anthony did an amazing job replacing six hail-destroyed windows in one day. They were courteous and professional. They took the time to explain all the great features of the windows, explained the lifetime warranty, and demonstrated our new windows for us - and retouched the caulk when I messed it up trying to open one myself during the demonstration. They made a lot of noise, and a big mess, but left our home cleaner than they found it. I don't know what they're making, but they deserve a raise. Oh, and the windows are beautiful!

I do have one lesson/regret to share, though: If you're windows slide sideways to open, those are replaced with similar windows. That is, they don't tilt in to clean. If you want those replaced with double hung windows, be sure to ask for them. Our insurance paid for similar windows, and I wish I'd upgraded those.

VERY happy with my new windows. The cost was much less than I expected, and the company was a pleasure to work with. The team who replaced my windows were hard working and friendly. They did not stop the entire time they were here. It’s so nice to see that there are still hard working people in the world. Kyle, Lee, Jake, Jeremy, Labon and Carl…you guys are awesome. Keep up the good work. Lastly, our salesman, Braden, was a pleasure to work with, too. Never pressured me at all. He patiently answered all my questions when I was inquiring, and has been super helpful throughout the entire process. After the install, he even came back to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I’ll be recommending these guys to everyone.

The Sales Rep, Service Manage, Office Staff, and Installers were knowledgeable and professional - from the beginning of the process to the end. We had one kitchen window surrounded by glass tiles. I was particularly concerned about possible breakage and the added expense of the repair. The installers handled the issue patiently and successfully. The results - no broken tiles! We are VERY pleased with the amount of light coming into our home, the quality of the windows, and the lifetime warranty. A Window World executive made a follow-up call the next day to check in and make sure we were completely satisfied with the installations. High five and five stars.thanks, Window World.

After all the advertising, I was expecting a professional organization. When I got the quote for windows for my entire home, I was shocked that they just sent an email with type of windows they were quoting (vinyl), the quality of windows, and the price. They did not even list the make or model of the windows. After receiving the email, I immediately removed them from my list of possibilities. Three stars for making it easy to remove them, I guess.

Edit 10/25/23: Window world had someone out to service the window the very next day.

Edit 10/24/23: Had a visible and audible leak in one of the picture windows after less than 1 month post-install. Pretty disappointing, but I have submitted a service request. Hopefully, the problem can be rectified quickly.

After a terrible experience with a private contractor, I followed the advice of numerous others and contacted Window World. Scheduled a measurement and consult with Jose, who was very prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. He answered many of my questions and put me at ease. After placing our order, the rest of the process proceeded just as he had described. We scheduled install, and Jory and his crew worked well over the two day install. They were polite and very efficient, getting all the windows in place the first day. Trim, sealing, etc were knocked out the second day. It seemed like each man knew his job and they worked well together. Highly recommend!

Window World was amazing, and when I do replace my windows, I will 100000% use them!
I called in and asked for a quote to a single window replaced. The representative told me that they have a 6 window minimum and a surcharge for anything under that. I let her know that a rock had hit my window pane and she immediately told me that I could get just the glass replaced on the pane, and wouldn’t need a completely new window. It was such a relief to hear that, and she even gave me recommendations on glass shops that could help replace my panes!
The fact that I wasn’t oversold and told that I’d need to have new windows was amazing, and the next time I replace my windows, I definitely know who I’ll be going with. Thank you!

When it comes to Installation and customer service these guys are the best. Thanks for the quality job. If you need new windows this company is top notch!

Great communication and very helpful during the process from start completion. Jose the main PM was amazing and could not be better.

Jory and his crew of 7 guys were awesome. They completed 18 windows in 5 hours and were very specific about the attention to detail and fixed any kind of small imperfection of there work. Could not recommend them more. If you need windows, this is your place. Don't look anymore or worry about getting more quotes.

I had my Window World windows installed several years ago and the service was great. I am also very happy with the quality of the windows. Most importantly, the warranty service is GREAT. One of my windows stopped locking so I called Window World. The local office got on it right away and sent a technician to fix the window in no time. No issues, no delays, no cost, just a great, quick service and warranty that actually works!

August 2023 follow up on my previous review.
I recently reached out to Window World Austin as I had issues popping my window screen in place after taking it down for washing. Window World Austin offered and provided a replacement sliding screen so I don't have to take it down when washing my windows, I simply slide it to the side. They came in and installed it at no cost. BTW, my windows were installed in 2015. This company is amazing! If I ever need window replacement again I will only use Window World.

Excellent Windows, the outdoor heat was cut as soon as they were installed. Jory and his team did an amazing job taking out my old windows and replacing them. Terrific service and communication!

I had been looking to replace my windows and had multiple drawn out appointments and high quotes from other companies. I sent a request to Window World and Jose contacted me the following day, I explained my previous experiences and that I wanted straight forward pricing, and I could not spend more than an hour of time for an appointment. He agreed and delivered on both which was exceptional. Quote was in my budget and also had individual pricing of each window and was very clear of what would be included for install. Windows came in quickly and installation was set to accommodate my schedule. My installers were Asher, Bruce and Chris. They were on time, polite, efficient, thorough and clean while working in over a 100-degree weather! They also took the time to explain all their work and what to expect during the install. They are a great team which makes a big difference in the overall experience! Window World came through and was exceptional to work with. I will be recommending them going forward.

They did me a favor and sent a load of bad windows and mirrors back to the shipper that did a horrible job of loading them into the trailer!

Installation was incredible too! Edward & Luis were quick & efficient. They clearly enjoy their job as well as working together. It was a joy to have them in our home.

We love our windows! They are beautiful and functional. We immediately noticed how much quieter our home was. Our home also stays cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. These windows were a game changer.

Best crew I’ve ever seen! As a fellow contractor I was jealous of how amazing the crew was, their efficiency, quality and speed! They completed 25 windows in 4 hours! Yeah I lost that bet and no damage to the brand new painted walls on the inside. Just very impressive and I would use them on any project. What else can they do? ! Brenden was our sales rep. Window World of Austin installed all new windows in our home in 2015. I recently noticed (2023) that the sheet rock around one window had been wet and the plaster around the sheet rock was peeling and the paint was chipping. Window World sent a representative out in a timely manner to assess the problem. Later, Mr. Cohen came out to take a look at the window. He determined it was not the window that was the problem. Even though he was not obligated to do so, he saw that the problems were fixed and the leak resolved. His kindness was greatly appreciated and I highly recommend Window World of Austin, If needed, you can count on their warranty.

Window World is different. They didn't miss a single thing. From the 1st meeting with our project manager to the faster than expected lead time to the talented install crew. Absolutely seamless, there is nothing more we could want from this project. Thank you Window World!
