Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is due to the driver almost messing up everyone's drop off this morning. Had we not all been paying attention at 4am, there would have been some long walks and missed flights. Noone said anything about United and it was the first place he stopped. He had to completely leave the terminal and go back to get to where we needed for Delta and he wasn't the nicest either. Other than that, everything went quite nice for the situation in which we found ourselves after our flight was cancelled.

The older woman at the front desk was absolutely trash. She tried to double charge the lady in front of me then ruined our whole reservation. When I told her we would go somewhere else she said fine, bye, have a good night. No remorse for doing people dirty at all! Will never be back and I do not recommend!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The updates they are doing are nice. There is work being done but it wasn't too bad.

Only went here for airport parking, but the staff was great and the convenience service offered is a lot more reasonable than other options.

AC is loud as a jet plane and is right next to the bed. Even with earplugs it’s deafening and keeps you up. Bedding doesn’t shed heat, which also makes it impossible to sleep. Room was clearly painted very recently and had a strong chemical smell when we walked in. Hotel lobby is undergoing renovation but looks like they gave up halfway.
We only stayed here because the airline gave us a voucher for canceling our flight, but in hindsight we should have just paid for our own room at a better hotel. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

The people were friendly and helpful, from the person who answered the phone and helped me find the shuttle, the shuttle drivers, folks at the desk, and at the patio restaurant.
Also the BBQ at the patio restaurant was the best I've ever had, and the tables and outdoor venue was just what I needed after a hectic day inside airports and planes.
I will stay here again, for the people and the BBQ.
[The accommodations were just fine - the shower had lots of good pressure and hot water and I had a good sleep (they were nothing to write home about, but what else do you need?). ]

We stayed here for the Bad Bunny Concert night, we were shocked at how nice and clean it was, they were remodeling the entrance which was not really a problem. Our room was $73 for a king bed and even had a pull out sofa as well, everything was clean and really tidy! The TV had nice channels as well, such as Disney, TLC, Cartoon Network which we enjoyed. We slept great that night! Thank you so much!

Only stayed here because airline rebooked my flight to the next afternoon, so they gave me a room. Pro: the room was better than expected, not sure if ot was a suite or not but was very spacious, almost to the point of too spacious unless you are staying several nights. Con: overnight front desk. Called while at the airport to confirm my reservation was still in the system as I was at the airport hours after my flight arrival. Was told that they were full for the night and had none and should have came or called before 2pm. The reservation was made by the airport at like 6pm, so should be in the system no matter what. I confirmed with the airline that the voucher was still good. So I called back and requested their shuttle, it was going to be like 40 minutes. I said okay but said screw that and ordered a Lyft. At check in the guy gave me a hard time and same stuff and no rooms, be there before 2pm, etc. Come to find my name was still in the system and had a room still. Any headache could have had been avoided had they asked for my name when I first called but no they gave excuses and made my nightmare travel day worse. 2 Star Service may be generous for this to be honest. In the end, I would be cause of dealing with this hotel late at night. Also note that currently they ate doing reservations andau be detoured around the lobby.

Bedding was soft and room was very clean. Free airport shuttle was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again if I need to overnight between flights out of DFW

Some issues with getting shuttle service to the hotel. Man answering phone hung up on me numerous times and once I did speak with him no apology was offered. Other than that I only stayed one night, there was construction or something going on in lobby area also, however the room was comfortable and clean.

Really good place to stay near the airport with free Airport Shuttle 24/7. Great amenities and service. Really recommend. A+

Clean room, great beds, nice amenities, beautiful bathroom. The only frustrating part was the not-advertized-sparseness of the shuttle. I understand staffing is difficult right now, but PLEASE update your various website listings to reflect the fact the shuttle doesn't run past 930PM. I would have booked somewhere else had I known that.

The room itself was actually fine. The issue I had with the Wingate was we waited 90 minutes to be picked up at the airport by their shuttle and the next morning they didn't have room for us in the shuttle to return to the airport. We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to DFW and the shuttle service. They offered no apologies, or made any effort to make up for the inconvenience. Terrible customer service. We will never use this chain again.

Not impressed. We waited over an hour for the shuttle (as did several other guests we later found out). After calling many times we finally secured a spot on the shuttle. Hotel front desk wasn't friendly, and when we requested a shuttle the next morning we were informed they were "full" (in looking at other reviews this seems to be a common excuse used by staff). The room was fine, but my experience with the shuttle and staff has ensured that I will never book here again.

DO NOT BOOK BECAUSE OF THE COURTESY VAN! We waited over an hour and a half for the 10 minute drive from the airport, only to arrive and be told that the shuttle was already booked for the following morning. The front desk offered nothing in return.

We booked here to stay before our trip and after a late return flight, we were showed the airport shuttle times and told we would be able to call and get a shuttle until 11pm. Upon arriving to DFW, we called to get our shuttle and we’re told that no one would be coming and that the shuttle doesn’t run after 9: 30pm except on weekends. We told them that their paper said otherwise and it still did upon arrival after paying for a very expensive Uber/Lyft ride. The woman at customer service said she would give us a small refund for the issues but the male at the front desk didn’t seem to care at all about the inconvenience. All we received was a lackluster apology and a terrible customer service attitude. Please check before you book if you’re going to need a late or early morning shuttle because it’s not going to happen for ya. Only giving two stars because the rooms are nice and clean. For someone that plans everything, this was a disappointment to say the least when our departure was so simple and easy. They would receive a much higher rating if it were based purely on our first night’s experience.

Updated: took a star away for the hotel having cockroaches and because I’d like everyone to know if they have the misfortune of dealing with Charlie to watch out. One person in my party left something behind unintentionally and he was LESS THAN HELPFUL again and refused to help when they called about it.

The staff at this location is terrible. They completely messed up my shuttle request and refused to help any further. Additionally the shuttle service is terrible, the driver is reckless and was driving at speeds as high as 80 mph, taking curves at a high speed and that was with a baby on board on her mother’s lap, he could’ve cared less. They’ll only drop you off at terminal A regardless of what terminal you are flying out of. I was only at this hotel for a few hours, but I wish I had never seen these set of terrible employees. Not a good way to represent this company.

We missed our connecting flight due to a delayed one and had to stay the night in Dallas.
This could have been a 5-star but the one staff member working the front desk was not welcoming. We felt like we were inconveniencing him and it did not feel great. It was too late for the shuttle to get us from the airport (11pm) and when we asked about it for the morning departure, it was full.
All in all, the service/convenience was not up to par, but the room and stay itself was exceptional for the one night we needed.

The rooms are remodeled and very nice. Bed and bedding were comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Liked the addition of potatoes. May sound simple but when you live in hotels and eggs and bacon/sausage are staples you notice when potatoes are there! Lol
Nice people and friendly. Shuttle was late but still made it to airport I plenty of time for our flight

I booked a room weeks in advance via Expedia.
Got to the hotel and then they said well we need a $50 deposit too.
That sucks but ok cool.
All I had was 65 bucks to eat that night, and the whole way home to Alaska.
They took 60 off my card when I asked why they blamed my bank. My bank has never charged me ten bucks to use my card so that’s wierd.
So I didn’t get to eat that night
Booked a shuttle to the airport for 6 am
The shuttle didn’t come till 7 and they had soo many people waiting cuz the were late that the driver stuffed the van fulll then pretty much made me ride in the floor while he drove 100 mph to dfw.
Well guess what, still missed my flight.
Had to wait at the airport for hours for a new flight then change all my other flights in Seattle and anchorage to accommodate the drivers screw up. Which means I also had to go from 7 am to 11 pm with nothing to eat because they didn’t refund my deposit.
Just really not cool at all.
I still haven’t been refunded my deposit and have called them several times.
The room was nice and clean and great breakfast. Staff was moderately friendly I guess
