I’ve been seeing Kristin Pajares for a couple years now and it’s been a consistently positive experience. Kristin is a provider I trust to provide great care with compassion. A truly rare find! Give her a raise!

Long overdue as I have been a patient since 2019 and have rarely had better than an OK experience. The front desk is consistently a 1 star experience—rude, unhelpful, impatient. They never pick up the phone and don't call you back even though their voicemail specifically asks you to leave a message and they will return the call within 30 minutes. I have been to both the Central and Westlake clinics with similarly disappointing experiences.

At Westlake, after waiting for *over an hour* passed my appt time, I inquired at the front desk for an ETA, which seemed to remind them that I was even there. All of a sudden, they show me back to a literal storage room and had me sit on a chair inside to ~continue to wait~ to be seen. Techs and nurses would come in to gather medical supplies and jump in surprise when they opened the door and saw me sitting there.it was so weird and unprofessional. I've never left any appt at Wiseman feeling confident about the experience but things like getting sat in a freezing storage room after waiting for well over an hour are really beyond the pale.

At the Central location, I went in for a female issue and the RN who saw me told me "she hadn't done this in a long time, " which is not what you want to hear from your doctor handling delicate parts of your body, and then proceeded to read the instructions for the procedure in the room with me while awkwardly handling my body which made me immediately regret going there at all—one of those real "just kill me now" moments.

I've really tried to make this place work, over many years—seeing different RNs, trying different locations—I want it to be different! The straw that broke the camel's back is when I called another doctor's office today to be seen for an acute issue I'm having (Wiseman doesn't have any appts for WEEKS available online—not helpful if your primary care provider can't see you for acute issues—and they have not returned my call about getting in sooner, which is honestly very ~on brand~ for them). But unfortunately, the new dr. I called told me they aren't accepting new patients but recommended I try Wiseman. HA! I called ARC instead (which tells you all you need to know). At least they answer the phone ¯_ (ツ) _/¯ Sadly, my search for decent medical care continues.

Called to say I was running late due to a blocked lane and they said if it wasn’t within 15 min of appt it may be an abbreviated appointment. I got there and ran into the office at just past 15 min late only to be told that they wouldn’t be able to see my child for his appointment and I could reschedule. I am a single mom who had to wait 1-2 months for this appt and drove my toddler and newborn to get to this appointment and there was zero consideration for my situation. In addition they never mentioned on the phone that I’d have to reschedule if late just that it would be a shortened appointment. Highly do not recommend a place so cold-hearted and inflexible to parents.

Jamie Garza is great!
She listens and always takes the time to not just explain, but also makes sure I understand.

Love going here. Started going here for accupuncture but they are now where I go for primary care. The central location is great.

I've been going to Wiseman Family Practice in central Austin since 2019. Dr. Pajares has been so incredibly helpful to me on my health journey. In particular, she supported me through three years of hormonal imbalance and serious digestive issues (e.g. SIBO). She went above and beyond in getting me the tests I needed to diagnose my issues and then came up with a holistic care plan to help me heal. There were definitely bumps along the way in my healing journey, but because of her help, empathy, and persistence, I was able to get pregnant, achieve hormonal balance, and get my digestion feeling loads better. I am so grateful that she took time to ask me questions, listen, and really help me achieve the health outcomes that I desired.
