Woodlawn Lake Park reviews
19I would be better if people picked up after them selfs and they had more and larger recycling and trash beens maybe use the same ones they have at hardberger park also why so many police it's un settling to see more than 5 every time I go
My most favorite park. It's the most beautiful hidden gem you could find near downtown San Antonio. They have tons of ducks and turtles and a really nice walking path around the whole lake.
Beautiful out here! Our favorite park in the area with great ambiance and over a mile of sidewalk trail that wraps around the lake for walking/biking etc. Bring your picnic to sit and relax by the lake but dont forget to bring bread or crackers to feed the ducks and enjoy nature!
East Entrance. The kids had a lot of fun at the park. Having toys for younger and older kids is a real plus. They also had liked watching all the birds on the lake. The big slide has a large crack on the bottom. The top slide entrance appears to be boarded off but the exit only has orange construction fence wrapped around part of it. The lake is a very short walk from the toys and there is no fence between the two.
Great place for fun picnicking kayaking barbecue even exercising walking biking as well as fishing or swimming at the pool, Awesome place to relaxation Enjoy with family friends, love one's.
Have always loved this Park especially with events like this one. Love it when sponsors present awesome firework display to the public and it's free. ️️️
Beautiful park with many amenities. Many ducks and other birds. Plenty of places for children to play.
I walk/jog here about five days a week, weather permitting. The park track measures 1.33 miles, and goes around the park almost in a circle. So park nearby and run or walk clockwise or counterclockwise, feed the ducks, have a bbq or picnic, or bring the family to play tennis or to play at the playgrounds. The park has two playgrounds, a fenced in dog area, a baseball field, a tennis court, BBQ pits, picnic tables, two public bathrooms, water fountains, and a public pool. The pool is closed however for the fall and winter, but will reopen in the spring. Dress comfortably, wear good walking shoes, and bring a kite or frisbee. Have fun!
Went to the Lake as part of a work assignment and enjoyed the fireworks.
Planet K puts on one of the best Pyro shows around.
Great park Two playgrounds and a track to walk/run, Pet friendly, it does have two basketball courts as well, they do a good job of keeping it clean.
Always a fun time nice lake to go fishing ducks to feed, play grown, tennis court, basketball ball court.running track n very nice view for a picnic
I Love everything about this park except when there's a creepy individual alone sitting by kids area.its annoying disgusted. My self id feel uncomfortable at a kid park with no kids. SO IF UR ALONE GO FIND A SHADED TREE TO SIT UNDER. THIS GOES FOR ALL PARKS. ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ON UR ANGELS THEIR TOO BEAUTIFUL & INNOCENT FOR THESE TIME & THERES ALWAYS A SICKO LURKING WAITING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY GODBLESS
Great clean park, lots of people, pets on leashes, calm ducks, tons of tables and benches! Beautiful views of the river, no fishy smell and a nice place for a picnic too. Just love this park so much! Playground, pavilion, basketball hoops, tennis nets, plenty of paths to run or jog at your pace, many people social distancing was a plus! Ice cream trucks, food trucks, etc
My significant other took me here for a jog this beautiful and breezy morning and I must say that I absolutely LOVE the laps and view.
Went for a dia los muertos firework show big turn out but not a lot to see would like to see more vendors and community participation
Lovely, short paved trail to take the family. There's a playscape (forgot to take a picture), ducks, geese, fishing. Nice little HealthBeat area that allows you to do body workouts. Pet friendly, just keep your furry friend (s) leashed!
Great for walking, running, or biking the trail. There is an area to play basketball and for children to play. There is also several areas for sitting down and have a picnic.
It's very convenient to go to Woodlawn Park for me because I live down the street. Whether I'm going for a walk or an event is always peaceful. Plus you can't argue with all the beautiful creatures there in the view of the lake is breathtaking.
Woodlawn Park is a great part of San Antonio Texas and I love it dearly you can go there walk around look at the ducks stand by the water you can't get in the water but you can be by the water it's a good time for families to be able to go out and enjoy time together and kids also they have swing sets and a park it fabulous place I love it
