Woody's Liquors, Lubbock TX

I am not from Lubbock but checking out a few places for something very specific. Woody (I assume) didn’t have it but was super helpful, very friendly and seemed interested in what I was searching for. The store was well stocked and clean. Not the selection of the big chain stores but I would rather spend my money in a place like this any day. I did leave with something new. Well worth checking out!

The owners of this place are fantastic. I came into browse their bourbons. He started asking me about the ones i like and was able to tell which ones i would like. He didnt upsale me he just gave me real thoughts and he was spot on. His knowledge and experience is unmatched.

Great place to come to. The worker there loves to have a conversation and recommend a drink if you haven't tried it (adventurous tastes for the bold. Go in there and get the pickle beer, great for the summer heat and a nice day by the lake. Cheers everyone!

One of the few places in Lubbock that specifically sells Sugarland's Shine brand moonshine. When my wife and our family visited Pigeon Forge a few years ago we stopped at both brewery's stores and found Sugarland's to be more flavorful. The husband and wife team at Woody's Liquors were so friendly it was amazing. Clean, well stocked, friendly and good prices. Surely promoting this wonderful Lubbock small business!

When I went in they were so helpful! Showed me everything I needed for a lemon drop. I was lost my receipt at the they were so hospitable in texting me back with my receipt. Will be coming again!

Large selection of liquors, much better than I expected for the size of the place. Decent selection of wines. Not a huge variety of beers but at least they are all cold. The gentleman at the register was extremely polite and helpful. I will be going again!

Great people, fair prices. Not the closest liquor store to me, but worth the extra mile for the service.
