Woody's Smokehouse Southbound, Centerville TX

Made a stop as this place as it came highly recommended. I was not disappointed. The smoked sausage was great! Loved all the choices of meats hot and cold for sale. So many pastries and pies, the chocolate merengue was out of this world. The staff was friendly the store was clean and restrooms large and clean as well. I like bucees but this place may make me consider driving the extra 20 minutes coming from Houston next time I go to Dallas.

The BBQ is amazing. The jerky is awesome. The cinnamon rolls are the best I've had since Tower Café in Okarche Oklahoma.

It is a crying shame that Bucc-es is put atop such a glimmering throne when the true king of I-45 Truck Stops is Woody's.

We made a restroom stop and ended up with a flag pole holder and watermelon sours, which my husband states are delicious. The place has a barbeque restaurant, many kinds of fudge and pastries in addition to many, many packaged specialties. Very cutely decorated and very clean. My new favorite stop between Dallas and Houston!

A friend recommended this place and we were not disappointed. Delicious bbq, fun place to stop for souvenirs.

This place is just amazing. The atmosphere of is so welcoming. I look forward on my Stops here as I Travel from Dallas to Houston and picking stuff up for my family.

Always a good stop for bbq, sausages, jerky’s, and good restroom. They have a robust ribeye seasoning that is the only think I’ll put on steaks for over 10 years.

I got the brisket and was disappointed. It was dry and tuff. Also the corn muffins were good, but they were tiny, and cost. 99 a piece. For that price they should've been twice the size. All in all, I was disappointed. I don't plan on returning unless I'm starving and have nothing else to eat.

Plenty of truck parking. Chopped beef sandwich was piled high with beef and was a good price. Husbands brisket was a little dry. Tiny Cornbread muffins were. 99 cents each. They wanted $5.99 for a plain baked potato with just butter and sour cream. Prices in store for fudge and frozen ice cream cones are ridiculous. Really nice restrooms.

Lots of times when you go to gas station restaurants the employees have a less than appealing attitude, however tonight in your restaurant we were helped by the nicest boy. He was patient with us and got our DELICIOUS food out quickly and correctly! Thank you so much for making our stop on this long trip a pleasant one! We'll definitely be back every time we come thru:)

Great place for a break from a long drive. All kinds of food, snacks, and gifts. Great smoked meat!

What a great place! Truckers, there IS parking here but there are steps you have to go down and come back up. They have an awesome little ribeye sandwich but also have other food as well. You can dine in or take out. We even bought some German links for the crockpot. You name it, they have it. Everything from cute Texas themed onesies to green tomato relish to cookbooks. The restrooms are super clean and huge! We definitely will be stopping here again!

Great place for a pit stop! Oh man, the meat they pile on the BBQ sandwiches! Best sausage I ever tasted. My husband had beef. Delicious. And had to have a chunk of fudge!

Way over price, German Kolacies not even a real German sausage, bathrooms very clean, thanks to Buc ees!

The venison summer sausage and cheese packs are great. BBQ sandwich hits the spot on a road trip and they're extremely friendly.

Good place to stop between Houston and Dallas. BBQ is tasty and tons of other stuff to make the trip more fun. Enjoy.

Just awesome. God bless Texas. Original coarse ground sausage, perfect peppered jerky and the sweetest temperament clerk's on the interstate.
Oh, the bathrooms have those fun Dyson hand dryers. It's the little things!
