World Market reviews
16Awesome store with lots of interesting furniture. I came there with the intention to buy some hard to source beverages in the back of the store. Good selection of pantry foods from around the world.
World Market is like a smaller Target. You can get caught up in all the fun, unique items. And you always walk out with more than you planned.
Quirky cool wierd stuff you probably won't find anywhere else, like New York Seltzer water.
Went in looking for a specific item which was listed online as being in the store. When I couldn’t find it, I asked for help from a cashier. She checked their inventory and said they had three. Another representative chimed in to add that it was on a palette in the back. Another added that it may be out in a week or two with a little laugh. Between 3 associates, one of which was the manager no one was truly helpful. They could have at least offered to check the floor but they just continued with what they were doing. Not nice. Will never return to this location, and if I didn’t love World Market so much, I wouldn’t return to any store. Really soured my view of their company. Sad.
Shop here for one of a kind items from around the world, including kitchen wares and household items like lamps!
Very polite and friendly staff! I didn't notice but I guess they close at 8. I left the store at 10 after 8. They never rushed me or mentioned that they were closing.
The world market on Research Blvd has amazing and extremely attentive staff. I was looking for some patio furniture, but ended up spotting an awesome chandelier light. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any in the store, but was happy to take the display. The assistance I received from Geoff during the process was ABOVE AND BEYOND my expectations for customer service. This also extends to the cashier Monique as well! She was so sweet and helpful, she even dusted off the light fixture for me. This by far was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had, and am truly thankful to both Geoff and Monique for making my shopping experience at World Market an amazing one. I would highly recommend this store and give it a 10/10!
Selection was not the best but I got what I needed for my white elephant gift. I do hope this store survives the pandemic as it is a great store!
Edit: after submitting an online ticket, they've mostly fixed it. One of the coupons expired a day after I got it back so I basically lost that one, and it still took another week and a handful of emails for them to fix something inherently broken with their system which is pretty annoying.
Original: Placed an online order using about $25 in coupons. The order was instantly canceled on their end for reasons not told to me. 5 days later and I still have a pending charge on my credit card and don't have any of my coupons back.
Always stocked up nicely, customer service is superb! The restroom are clean. Unique and nostalgic items always in stock.
I get all the Australian foods here.especially the Bunderberg Ginger Beer.thet also have an assortment of wines from round the world.there are also a range of furniture and gift items.
World Market has items from all over: food, spices, wines, household and kitchen things, furniture too. They have a section for nice items for kids too. Something for everyone. If you have never been. I recommend giving it a try. Allow time to shop and look in each area!
Love the store as always. Nifty and amusing finds from all over the world. Shout out to Mathew for going out of his way to help us throughout the process.
Stood in line forever with ONE checkout person who clearly moved at the pace of a snail. No one to help her. I set all my shopping down and left.
Items I was looking for was not available. The store looked a bit bare. The other world market had other items and I was hoping I would find them at this location.
Nice store! It wasn't crowded and very clean. There were a few people in there and only one wasn't wearing a mask.
