I was very excited to come here, but the experience turned sour as soon as my husband and I arrived. They have signs that say “check in by calling. ” in the parking lot so we parked and called and then was answered by a lady saying “we can’t do this right now” like if I had misread the sign or something. After checking in we went to the room and there was massive bugs and bees everywhere I texted the front office (out of their recommendation) and never got a text back. My husband ended up killing the bugs but they were mostly in the bath tub so I didn’t feel comfortable being in the bath tub after that. Pretty place but I probably won’t come again. The negatives outweighed the positives in my opinion.

The best part of this trip was being with my family, as far as this location, we felt very disappointed. First of all, the pictures show only the best features of this resort and don't really paint an accurate picture of some of the buildings/rooms/views. We were put on a 2nd floor and there are NO ELEVATORS, my mistake for not checking. My mom is 81 and is partially handicapped, they moved us fairly quickly to the first floor, so this turned out fine. The decor is 1970/modern/western? Felt very dated and confusing. We had a balcony/patio that overlooked dirt/rocks/bushes. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ONLINE. Due to Covid-19 restrictions (not entirely the resorts fault) we could only use the pool for 2 hours, one of the 3 days we were there by reservation only. No pool tables or swings or common areas or hot tub or hiking trails, or fitness room, Guadalupe is more than "steps away", none of the amenities that helped us chose this place for our vacation. There are buildings on the property that look like they have an amazing view of the hill country and they might make this property worth visiting but if you are in building 15 or 16, you will be VERY DISAPPOINTED. Trish, the employee at the pool was extremely nice and took great care of us the 2 hours we were allowed to visit the pool in our 3 day stay. THE POOL IS THE BEST THING this place has to offer but again, unfortunately due to covid-19 the resort decided to close it each day at 5: 00 instead of 10: 00 (not sure how this helped) and only allow guest 2 hours a day, but check in time was 4: 00 on day one, so we weren't allowed to use it the day we arrived. If I were traveling to Kerrville for a purpose and needed a place to stay, I would be fine staying here as a hotel accommodation but I would never chose this "resort" as a vacation destination. This review is not meant to bash the resort, even if it sounds like it, it is very eye appealing on the outside, it is in the beautiful hill country, employees are doing a good job etc. My main purpose for writing this review is just wanting to let anyone looking for a vacation destination for their family, that this may not be what you are looking for, I wish I had read this review before booking.

GREAT value. Price was incredibly reasonable. My wife and I went in what would be considered "the off season" and we were super pleased. It wasn't overcrowded, that was nice. Patrons seemed well spaced out. We stayed in the Studio Presidential Suite. The staff, they are awesome! Can't say that enough. They were great, from beginning to end. Incredibly friendly, genuine, and helpful. You guys rocked.

There was one small problem, the air conditioning went out but, we were promptly moved to a different suite.

It was beautiful, seriously, and spacious. There was a star gazing area, multitier pools, a restaurant that offered delicious eats. The surrounding community was really quaint and friendly. We will have to visit again soon. Also there are accommodations for groups of any size. If you're looking for a nice couples get away that doesn't kill your bank account, you should seriously consider checking this place out.

The pandemic has caused closures and restrictions on the private river access, pool access, and the hot tub is closed. Amenities and environment is beautiful. We saw deer and Jack rabbits every night on a walk around the property.

Staff was wonderful. Living quarters were clean, spacious & comfortable. LOVE the pools, but hate the bugs! Fishing at the bottom if the hill. Shopping, to get pretty much anything you need, is not too far. Family of 13 in two cabins really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 4 nights here. Notified resort staff that AC in Master bedroom wasn’t working properly. Despite several visits from maintenance crew and local AC service they were never able to fix the problem. Most disappointed with lack of follow up from resort staff to make sure AC was operating well. 77 degrees at night isnt terrible but for this price you expect much better.

We received a message that the pool would be on a reservation basis. So, I Called the front desk and was told I couldn’t reserve till the day of my stay. So I called that morning to grab the 3-5 slot at the pool bc check in isn’t till 4: 00. Was told I can’t reserve until i check in. Asked if I could check in early and was told no. Upon arrival at 4: 00 they said sorry pool is all booked up. We were not happy as we were only staying one night for camp drop off. We drove by the pool and it had basically cleared out but they wouldn’t let us. My girls were so sad they couldn’t even swim. Then our room’s carpet was damp. Also, There is a nest of baby birds in the light fixture by our room! My girls were scared to death every time we had to enter or leave the room. There is a huge amount of disgusting bird poop under it that we had to shimmy around when unloading our luggage. My daughter fell and scarped her leg just from running from them. To top it off we are woken up by construction outside our window at 8: 30 am! Not happy and we stay here every year for camp drop off. When our camp dates got messed up due to covid they were not accommodating at all. Very disappointed in their customer support. They need a better pool reservation system. Or at least monitor if a family is leaving another can enter. They need to accommodate guests that are just arriving after a long drive.

Although we visited in a cold season we had great time visiting small towns around. This place is beautiful, perfect location to relax, and enjoy hiking around the property.

This resort condo abundantly exceeded my expectations. The view from up stairs overlooking the mountains is a once in a life time view. The accommodations QED amenities are very fruitful, as well as it comes with all the silverware, appliances, plates etc that you need and more. It's a must go again and visit again.

Beautiful rooms, nice staff, lovely pool (except they do NOT have a separate adult pool - kids are allowed in all pools) picturesque river access and even have a star gazing point. But bring your own chair.

Loved my stay here. It was great! Very relaxing. Loved the pools, spa, pool table, fire pit, bbq grills, walking trails, and star gazing, plus views. It was all great. The bed was very comfortable we want to buy 1 now. The full kitchen was great and everything we needed was there. Note the only thing we found we needed and didn't have was chip clips.lol otherwise we had everything. Thank you Worldmark Hunt for a great vacation we will treasure!

Folks, these are luxury apartments for the price of a semi-luxury hotel room. Located on the outskirts of town but shopping is within easy reach (~5-7 mi.). Everything is provided, less food and drink, including linens, pool towels, cooking and eating tools, etc. Gas grills are located in common areas. There are two pools that overlooking the Hill Country with a slide for the kids. Only downside is they charge for internet access.

I reserved a room here for 4th of July months in advance. I drove out there on 3 July over 2 hours to get there. When i got there I was told my room was currently being cleaned and I would be able to get in shortly. 3 hours later I was still waiting and eventually told they couldn't accommodate my reservation and I ended up leaving.
