Old school corner gasoline station turned into a BBQ joint which is really cool. Good place to catch a game, play pool and mingle with friends. Food is good, service is great, tell Poptart hello for me.

I'd been by here several times and thought to stop there sometime, and today I did. I think I have never been as warmly welcomed anywhere. Mr Wrice came out to meet me in the portico, and brought me in to show me around and we talked for 10 minutes before he asked how could he help. I told him what I liked and he custom cut it for me. We talked some more and I left with a pound of brisket, chopped to order.
Mr Wrice is a one man operation weekdays so call ahead, but Fridays and weekends he calls in the crew.
The brisket? I'll be getting mine at Mr Wrice's place.

Nice little BBQ joint. Music on point, food is good and prices are fair. We sat outside in nice weather.

Loved this place… I loved in TC for a while and when I tell you this I as amazing I mean it! 10 outta 10 definitely recommend!

Got up there to get lunch for the family and realized I didn't have my wallet. Mr. Wrice noticed me looking for it and came outside. When I couldn't find it in the car, he offered to fill my order anyways and let me come back later to pay for it. Never met this man before in my life so I thought that was pretty amazing. We had brisket, sausage and ribs with baked beans and potato salad. Everything was awesome!

OMG.my sister told me about this place, and I finally found it. The brother was Kool as @#$$&, so I stayed and got food. Reminds me of back home. When I route back through, I'm gonna attend his small function out front on Friday and Saturday nights.

OMG, I was in the Galveston area and was in search of BBQ this place came up with great reviews and let me tell you wasn't disappointed at all amazing

Everything was kool at least we thought the food is horrible taste boiled and then semi smoked after the boudin had been microwaved and was crunchy in spots and the sliced beef tasted like corned beef I will not try this again $61 worth I trash we threw out on 6th street for them to clean up

Food was amazing and service was great the lady behind the counter was friendly and very knowledgeable of the food she was serving and I'll definitely go back laid back atmosphere dj on Friday and Saturday and that do Calvin has all the sounds from ol school to new school.if you haven't been I recommend you go and check it out

This place has the best BBQ I’ve eaten in a long time. Everything- from the beans and rice, potato salad, green beans, and the meats were A+.

Overpriced sandwich. I know when you eat out you pay for the atmosphere.but $14.28 for a sandwich that buns came from Walmart.very small. Also I do have to say be very careful when you eat the chopped beef or brisket sandwich. I found a long sharp pointed bone I crunched right into a spit right out. I know some people reading this gonna feel some type of way I wrote this review and be upset. It's ok though.you will get over it and live your life peacefully. Good thing I took pics as proof.

Finally made it to this BBQ place.
I had a chopped beef sandwich. Generally not on my menu. This sandwich had enough meat piled on to make two. Good and chunky and not mushy like most. I also had their boudain link. Smoked and cooked just right, not too dry.
The atmosphere of being in the old fill'n station was an added bonus. The staff was very friendly.
Give this place a try.

I’ve ordered many times since opening. Door has been spot on, Excellent! Today ordered through Grubhub. Ordered 2 meat plate and brisket plate. Usually I get the rib plate. And my experiences in the past the ribs and the sliced beef have been very tender and moist, today not so. Brisket chewy & dry, ribs were the same.requested extra bbq, not in package.

Had ribs very good and awesome bbq dip
Wife had ribs and chicken, that had a unique flavor

Definitely a good stop

Food is great & the owner is a really good person. Texas city resident from way back.
