Yamaguchi Ramen Bar reviews
15One of my favorite places here in El Paso mainly because it makes me feel like I'm not in El Paso whenever I walk through the doors. The ramen is phenomenal, the vibe is great, and the staff are great.
Lights went out, servers take longer to serve you cause phones like to keep being played with drinks weren't up to par on what they say and the mix drinks to be consistently made is foul food was not up to standard and threw up plus the seafood they claim to be fresh as to copy nippon was also not and got others sick would not recommend and rather stay going to actual Asian restaurants with the language barriers.
Fantastic restaurant for fans of Ramin and Anime. Meal seem to avrage 15-20$ per person. Good food, tea, and liquor has guaranteed a repeat visit
Came here for dinner with a friend.
Didn’t have high expectations because I’ve been hurt by ramen before.
This wasn’t bad.
Better than expected.
Ramen is the main attraction here so that’s always a plus.
The restaurant is a pretty good size with lots of room at the bar and lots of table space.
Staff was friendly and attentive.
Portions were kinda small and a tad expensive but I’ve had far worse ramen that cost a lot more.check this place out.
I understand stand they are trying to help acknowledge the anime culture but this was done the wrong way. The girls were straight up in underwear and there was kids around. As well not worth the money due to the food not having favor and not having the enough attention as my favorite ramen place Kaedama.
I wish I could that I would give it another try but went the other day and it just didn't seem like it improves. Don't waste you money on this place is you don't want feel and appreciate the culture.
This place is awesome, ordered Yamaguchi sampler and takoyaki as appetizers and everything was amazing. Then we ordered chicken shoju ramen which it was good, black garlic and spicy tonkotsu which were creamy delicious.finally chicken katsu which was not good at all, chichen was overcooked and super dry.
Overall I'm blocking bad chicken katsu experience and give them 5 stars, will definitely be back
Went there not to long ago, got the tonkatsu and wasn’t the best to be honest since it didn’t really have that flavor that’s expected from a tonkatsu ramen and also not that flavorful so that’s what made me not want to got there anymore. The appetizers were pretty good though as well as the atmosphere and service, we got treated pretty nicely.
Food was very yummy! If you're planning to get the takoyaki please do it was so delicious. I paired it with a taro boba and it was a dream as well. The vibe of the place was fun I love the lights going down the hallway to the bathroom and all of the art. Overall would be coming here again for that takoyaki. ´・ᴗ・`
One of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I love the anime aesthetic and they’re always showing my favorite shows. Our server was also amazing, she was on top of everything and made sure we were happy. Will recommend to others for sure.
I remember my first time eating their and I love the atmosphere and I feel like I belong the servers take care of you very well and when u need service they have a bottom to call over servers instead of waiting.
I went in to yamaguchi for date night.right away we were seated and girls took our orders even for a first timer helped my date chose her fist ramen.i love the art ambiance and seats light and bell for service like japan family restraunts the girls are sweethearts got our Boba teas fast and the the servers got our ramen in 5super fast the tonkatsu was ausome super great broth and the chasu was super good not fatty and egg too my date loved the place first night took her naruto ramen highly recommended anime geek date night.love how one tv is sports the anime then sports then anime.hoping come back and love its close to my house.
Me and my wife have been quite a few times. Mostly in the day as a day date and have had no issues. We always start off with the furikake fries with pork belly. So last night we decided to have a family dinner there, as our kids like ramen as well. As normal we ordered drinks and the furikake fries with pork belly. The fries came and the pork belly was cold, and smelt extremely spoiled.
I took it back to the waitress and she made it seem like it was something that happens quite often.
She asked what else we wanted and I asked for the check as I know from my previous experience there that they add pork belly to almost all their meals and I don't know where or how that pork is being stored and it wasn't worth the risk of getting food poisoning.
Though the said the bill was on them, it is alarming that they just brushed it off like it was a normal thing. When I say the pork was spoiled, I mean that pork left a smell on our hands that was horrible.
Ruined it for us.
Their chashu pork was the best I've ever had when they recently opened, it melted in your mouth. But now its a bit tougher, but other than that it's great ramen
So disappointed.every single time I stop by for my favorite, they never ever get it right. I thought once ok it happens but for 4 consecutive times my edamame hasn't been what I ordered.since I'm usually in a hurry I forget to check before leaving the establishment & don't realize it until we're home back in the lower valley
FRIED, SPICY that's all we really need
