Yanaguana Garden and playground reviews
37Great place to kill a little time with the kids. Check out the concrete ping pong and Foosball. Surprisingly clean restrooms for a public park.
My daughter loves this park! She rather spend time here than Fiesta Texas. Very well designed for the older kids as well. Challenging games for them
Very well San Antonio
We came to the Tower of Americas for the 4th of July celebration and we're very disappointed do not recommend going was not fun for my children
This place is great for family fun. It's a big playground area for kids young and older. There is a few small snack shops around the area. Such as ice cream and food to eat. There is a slash pad area and a big climbing area for kids to play. A butterfly garden and much more. I recommend this place period. It is walking distance from the tower of Americas it's no more then a five min walk to the tower. Great place for kids to have fun.
I think This is the best idea SA could have come up with. Such a great atmosphere Very nice place for good outdoors family fun time. We love it each time we go!
Its a very nice park with a pizza place and paleta shop, kids love to play in the sand and in the water on the splash pad, there is a shower to rinse off the sand and changing rooms as well a great place to beat the heat this summer.
Went today at 1pm and not so surprised that we had the park to ourselves. The summer heat keeps the crowds away. Kids had a blast on the playground and I cool off my feet in the splash pad. Very nice park that keeps evolving and getting even better. There is also a restaurant in addition to the gourmet palateria.
While we were staying at the Marriott Riverwalk, we were told about this park. Park is amazing. It had fun playground equipment for all ages (we had 18m - 10yr and they were all engaged). Be sure to bring a bathing suit, because the splash pad was the hotspot during this hot summer day! Perfect popsicle place right next door as well!
Since 9, now 1030, and there is a alot of drunk people letting their kids run wild while they drink and cuss in front of the sand park because of the bar. It looks gross and I had to take my kids home because of the racial slurs and I'm from the south lol but still!
Our favorite San Antonio park for kids! Splash pad, amazing jungle gyms, swings, outdoor checkers, coffee shop for adults, a chicken coop, and close to La Villita/riverwalk. There’s also lots of seating for adults in the shade.
For parking, we always use the Durango Lot on Cesar Chavez. You can also park in the neighborhood right behind it.
My kids had a BLAST at this playground! Very unique playground structures, and they loved all the different things to climb. The big concave swings may have been their favorite though!
There are plenty of playground and kids play items including water games. Will be enjoyable for the kids.

Wonderful children's park. Extremely limited parking-unless you pay by the 1/2 hour in a parking lot. About 1/3 of the park is closed due to construction. Splash park, swings, sandpit are still open. Lots & lots of shade and places to sit. We easily spent 2 1/2 hrs here
A place where the whole family cam enjoy the outdoor escape San Antonio Parks and Rec has created! Splash pad, playscape, ample seating, ping pong and plenty of grassy nooks to lay out a blanket and relax. Pack and lunch and head here with the kiddos. You will have a blast.
Awesome park. It has a small water area and a sand area. It even has a few changing rooms if u do decide to get wet. They have food n drinks for sale as well. Theres a ping pong table. My kids loved this park.
This was a fantastic park! There is parking nearby and lots of trails. My kids loved the climbing structures and the cat statue. There are two foosball tables, checkers, giant connect four, and two lung ping tables with paddles and balls. We spent hours there! It wss to chilly the day we went for that splash pad, but we'll hit it up next time along with the sand area.
