This place is awesome! A good friend recommended the place based on his numerous visits. He did not lead me wrong. I had the Kentucky Hot Chicken and it was GREAT. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. It was served with a side of pickles and small sweet potato pancakes. Seems like odd bedfellows, but I was so wrong. The pancakes were amazing and the syrup on the side was even better. My only complaint, if I can even call it that, was the sweet was not very sweet. The restaurant was large and clean. I went on a Sunday morning and it was nearly empty.

This is a wonderful upscale bar and restaurant with a large patio overlooking the Village on the Parkway traffic. Pricing keeps less desirables out of this place, so the atmosphere stays very nice, clean and upscale. The service was fast and attentive, but the food was not served hot, a bit lukewarm, like room temperature. While that was a bit disappointing, the food was still very good and well-prepared.

The drinks here are fairly expensive, and beer is very overpriced, which was why I guess I never see the patio full of people with cocktails and drinks on the weekends. Every cocktail is $10+ each, and imported beers, craft beers and even domestics are at about $7+ each.

On a good note, the drinks and beer menu is huge, definitely the best in the area and second to none in terms of varieties and options available. And the food menu is really diverse, a little something to satisfy everyone's tastebuds and appetite.

Now, you could head to Wal-Mart or down Inwood Road and buy a six-pack of imported, craft or domestic beer for the same price as one beer here. We tried two cocktails here, and they were very tasty, well blended but fairly weak and rather sweet. A bit disappointing considering I spent $23 on just two drinks.

They do have a Happy Hour, which offered great specials for food, but drinks would still be at least $2 more than everywhere else in the Village. The décor is very nice, modern and clean. Clientele was young professionals, empty nesters, businessmen, housewives, couples, singles looking to mingle and a few well to do retirees.

All in all, this is a very nice place for having delicious food on a gorgeous patio in a stylish and high end setting. Prices are expensive, so plan ahead and don't be cheap. Definitely a great place for date nights, girls nights and group gatherings.

Once you see this place, you will realize that every detail, no matter how small, was studied, debated and refined until it was exactly what was intended. I was alone at the bar, observing. It's a well-oiled machine. I had an appetizer, roasted Brussels Sprouts and potatoes. Sounds kinda boring, right? Not at all. Very good, with a sauce. Yes, many of the items are pricey, but it's obvious that they actually cook food in the kitchen. This isn't a spot where plastic bags of sauces and pre-cooked meats are delivered on a daily basis, simply to be reheated and served to unquestioning masses who don't know any better. Excellent and friendly bartenders rounded out a positive experience. The place isn't cheap, but good food and drink haven't been cheap in many years.

The facility and decor are incredibly welcoming. Service was top notch!

For appetizers we had: poke nachos, onion ring tower, brussel sprouts and boneless wings. All of these were fantastic. I would highly recommend the wings and the poke nachos.

My entree: I went with the pepperjack burger. This is where the negativity lies. It was very boring compared to the description. Either a lack of seasoning or execution because it was a very average, at best, burger. Other people in my group had the Nashville chicken sandwich. That looked like a way better option.

I'll eagerly return but avoid their burgers. Gives a vibe of a great happy hour establishment.
