Doctor Sonbol’s staff showed excellent customer service and doctor sonbol was very patient with me and showed me all the alternatives and answered all my questions in perfect detail

Received the care I needed. Answered all my questions, reviewed all my medications. Ordered some tests to further determine what diagnosis and treatment needed. The staff is always friendly, helpful. The entire staff makes you feel like you are a family member. Which we are. On a scale of one to ten, with 10 being the highest score, I give them a 10.

Professional and courteous. Friendly support staff. I appreciate them respecting my time - wait time is very reasonable.

The office of Dr. Sonbol have Excellent customer service skills. The receptionist was very friendly and attentive. The Nurse was attentive and good listening skills. Dr Sonbol answered ALL my questions! He has EXCELLENT bedside manners. Very good office staff and Nurse.

Dr. Sonbol is a great cardiologist! He is kind, reassuring, explains procedures well and is compassionate. He also remembers me, which I really appreciate. His staff is also kind, friendly and compassionate. I am eternally grateful for his brilliance and his caring.

No.

I pay my bills on receipt. Every.single.time. I ask if I can pay in the office- no, we will bill you. I pay them. It gets lost. I get calls from the billing department calling me a liar and documenting that I said them losing my check is not my problem. I did not say that, but really? Once my check is in their hands I have no control, so why am I responsible for them losing it? I might be more inclined to be nice about it if it did not happen EVERY TIME I SEE THE DOCTOR. The final straw was when I called the office and was assured I would receive a call back from the office manager. I did not and then my account was turned in to collections. REALLY? I am choosing to take my business elsewhere, not because of the physician- he is excellent- but I’m done dealing with his rude, unprofessional incompetent billing service. If you live nearby and can go in person to pay your bill, I highly recommend Dr Sonbol. But if you live across town and would be forced to deal with the billing service? Save the stress on your heart- go elsewhere.

Going to a cardiologist you would think their staff would be more caring and more attentive and most importantly pay attention to detail - this staff is the complete opposite of that - including the 'manager' Rachel. When you drop the ball - admit it - apologize - move on - instead of pointing fingers and everyone else but yourself. Here is something I hope you can put to use for training your staff and yourself -
"Sir/Madam - we apologize that this happened - we care about your health which is the most important thing - let me get everything corrected and get you on the schedule as soon as possible"

Yelling/screaming/shouting/talking over and the worst possible thing that you and your staff did is hanging up the phone while still speaking. I hope Dr. Sonbol actually gets to read some of these.

They know what they are doing, why they are doing it, how to do it, how to make sure you know why they are doing it and in the best and most understandable way. Can’t ask for more.

Worst staff ever. I have been a patient of Dr. Sonbol's for over 8 years and his support staff has really declined. I had a medical emergency that landed me in the emergency room. I attempted to call Dr. Sonbol and was informed by his staff that it was 3 weeks before they could get me in. Even for an existing patient. I asked if they could place me on a list in case of a cancelation and was informed they didn't have a list and I was welcome to call in daily to see if anyone cancelled. I then asked for their online portal information so I could access my records and was informed that if I didn't sign up for the online portal in my initial visit then I could not sign up now. I then asked that they forward my records to a new cardiologist and was informed it will take 3-5 business days to do that. Two weeks later and his office won’t take or return the other doctor’s calls.

Service from Sonbol's staff has always been spotty but today was a new level of uncaring ineptitude.

Dr. Sonbol is very professional, pragmatic, and detailed in his care of patients. Great bedside manner as well and he takes time to listen and respond to questions. Highly recommended.
