My boys have been attending Collin County Adventure Camp for the past 7 years. We've tried some of the other popular camps that are further away and cost twice as much but they both prefer CCAC! The food is good, the counselors really seem to enjoy being with the kids and keeping them safe. I highly recommend CCAC for any parent looking for an amazing affordable camp experience for their child!

MY KIDS LOVE THIS PLACE! It's the best value for the dollar, and of the many camps we have tried, it's the only one my kids just love going to. We have done 7 consecutive years and there has never been anything but absolute smiles at the end (even through COVID!). This camp keeps the kids unbelievably active and engaged in a wide variety of events, activities and FUN.

I attended this camp as a fifth-grade camp chaperone and my daughters went back for a week of summer camp. It's a great facility with fun activities and yummy food. Grateful to have this gem in Collin County.

My child who was initially hesitant and didn't want to go ended up having a wonderful time! We kept his phone for the week but that was not a problem at all. He raved about all the fun activities and was particularly impressed with the food. As he was retelling his adventures, never once did he mention he wished he had his phone with him. In fact, he has specifically requested to go back next summer. The camp captain for his cabin ran a tight ship and made him feel welcomed and taken care of. We look forward to making this camp a summer tradition for the kids!

My son has been attending the YMCA programs since he was in Kindergarten. We recently moved and were very excited to find the Collin County Adventure Camp. We enrolled our son for the day camp program as well as one of the overnight camps. My son has ADHD and has a hard time without redirection. All of this was shared on the medical forms that were filled out along with instruction on how to redirect my son when needed. The advice was taken lightly. My son had a hard time at the overnight camp and asked to come home early. After picking our 9 year old son up he shared with us that one of the counselors told him that he must have ADHD and there are medicines he could take for it to calm him down. He then proceeded to ask us what ADHD was. After emailing the director twice and calling multiple time to discuss the counselors actions, we decided to pull him from camp because the director never responded. They DO NOT care about the kids. They claim to be able to provide accommodations for kids that have disabilities, however they fail when it comes to interacting with the children. Needless to say my son has always attended a YMCA program for the last 4 years and we WILL NEVER go back.

My son went here for 5th grade camp so I looked in to it for summer. I had looked at other camps previously and they were just too expensive. The price for a week at CCAC is comparatively much more reasonable so I signed him up (after some convincing since he wouldn't know anyone). He had a fantastic time! There's a ton of cool stuff to do, he raved about the food (which I heard some kids talking about when dropping off, so it must really be good) and he said the counselors were really nice. There's even a photo drop every day so you can see your kiddo having fun. Overall, great camp, we plan on being back next year. Thanks for making his experience a good one!

The camp was amazing! I loved it so much. The workers were so sweet and the food was really good. Only down part is that they have no card machine. They only take cash at the little shop! Overall though it was an amazing trip:) YALL NEEDDDD A CARD MACHINE.

This place was disgusting and very unprofessional with the children. I will never let my child go back, they need to learn how to speak to children. Also it was beyond filthy, the camps roofs were falling in, the beds were basically boards. The food was disgusting a lot of the children didn’t even eat. The weather was horrible, it was cold and extremely muddy, the kids were covered in mud. Such a bad experience overall. I’m definitely reporting to BBB, for how inhumane this place is, it is not safe for the children at all.
