We love Martez,

We found him through my loction when our previous barber (for our oldest son) was constantly canceling appointments at the last minute and would not have any follow up. I believe the one time he was running behind he called/texted me to let me know and we were more than happy to wait being that it’s not a common occurrence with him. I would also like to note that in this small town there are not many people we trust to cut our son’s hair but we’ve always loved the services he provides. I will always recommend him when anyone asks for suggestions.

I moved here from Virginia in 2015. When I lived in VA I had a barber that’s been cutting my hair since I was little. I’ve always been really particular about my haircuts and it took me a while to find someone that I felt was able to cut my hair at that level. Once Martez cut my hair for the first time at Truly Blessed back in the days I haven’t let anyone else touch my head. In fact, I did once and I regretted it! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE FRESHEST FADES IN ABILENE TX LOOK NO FURTHER! TEZ IS THE TRUTH! Besides the cuts, Martez also owns a clothing company and shoe store, his hustle and ambition is absolutely inspiring. Always a pleasure to talk to, very personable. And if you leave Yo Martez! Without feeling as fresh as you’ve ever been, that’s Yo! Own damn fault!

My 6 year old son is really excited to go to school to show off his new haircut and loved looking at everything in the store. He has his birthday presents picked out already. Also- he pretended to be a barber the rest of the day after he got home!

I went to just grab a shirt from the Yo Martez “Mini-Mart” but I heard a song that caught my attention next door. Once I hit the corner I witnessed two barbers doing the lords work on peoples heads. I immediately was met with a mirror and noticed I was in dire need of what’s called a “bald fade”. 5 stars!

Amazing customer service! He’s more than a barber but also a mentor to my 2 teenage boys. Def consider him more like an uncle that you can always count on! 5 stars is just not enough!

Martez is an excellent barber, super cool, great customer service, nice store with alot of different shoes and clothing. Come here if you want your head right and your kicks on point. Today was my first time coming here. Martez was recommended by a friend who has their kids hair cut here all the time. I will be coming back.
