Youngblood's Cafe reviews
18Could serve corn tortillas with the Huevos Rancheros as it should be instead of soggy flour tortillas
I'm a regular at Youngblood's because of the great food, fair pricing, and the ability to enjoy a meal in a West Texas atmosphere where you can feel cozy even during busy times.
Friendly, timely ordering and food to table. Tasty breakfast good price. Had lunch today chicken fry, mash was tasty, our server was great.
My daughter and grandson always go there. This was my first time at young bloods and I was very impressed from the staff to the food. Everything was perfect. Looking forward to my next visit. The staff definitely deserves a raise.
Absolutely delightful decor. Super friendly staff. The food was outstanding, and there was lots of it. We will definitely be back here! (Oh, and the banana pudding was unlike any I have ever had anywhere else. It amazes me that it was free with the meal.)
The young lady at the register was more than rude she for what ever the reason would not acknowledge my presence a waitress had to tell her twice I was there and she still never looked at me and was just as unfriendly as she could be. Then she was going to let me pay her twice but I realized and corrected myself good food ido not always like the attitude of some females that work there
Chicken Fried Steak or Catfish? This is the place, cooked up fresh. An Amarillo classic of Texas friendliness. Our waitress, Jill, along with the rest of the staff, makes this a 6-star place.
Me and my fiancé came to Youngblood's I got the chicken fried stake and he got the meat loaf it was delicious definitely coming back also servings are big can’t show the before but I’ll show the after
This breakfast was as good as it gets. Breakfast tacos were great and the coffee was on point. Great service and really welcoming.
This cafe is amazing and awesome the food is amazing service is out of this world so keep up the good work thank you from Jay Pasquarille
Really enjoy this place it has an old fashioned cafe vibe I love! And the chicken fry is pretty good too
Seated promptly but waited over an hour for food. For some reason, the order was not received in the kitchen. Ask for super crispy bacon only to receive half cooked. Returned bacon to kitchen but still not crisp. Pancake was good. Had a very nice young man taking care of our drinks. Was not charged for the bacon, which I appreciated.
My wife and I have eaten breakfast here before, and the food was nothing special. This time, it was one of our best food experiences in Amarillo. Don't know if they have new cooks or the stars were lined up perfect, but we will be back. Only thing I didn't like was that there were six of us and they didn't want to split up the bill. That takes longer to leave because the cashier has to separate the bills.
Service is always great but this last time the food was slacking. Smaller portion seems like and not as good in general
Friggin fantastic. Had the green chili and cheese omelet and it was great. Portions big enough i couldnt finish my meal, and cheap enough you wont lose your wallet in the process. Service was beyond fantastic. Gave them a 25% tip because my coffee and water never left the tim of my cup.
This place was recommended by a nurse at NWT Hospital, it had a very friendly atmosphere. Lots of elderly people like this place for it’s hometown country atmosphere. Great place to take your elderly parents and if you enjoy home cooked food yummy! I highly recommend
Went to lunch with my mother and was too late to try the meatloaf, but had pork chops and they were delicious. Gonna have to get there a little earlier next time.
