Awesome service, they made me feel so at ease, and Dr. Meah was so helpful and explain my results very clearly.

When my mother went to get her esophagus looked at the doctor had to stop the procedure because she stopped breathing and was rushed to the emergency room and they took care of her. Dr. Meah gave her the information of what is going on with her esophagus and stomach. She has Achalasia in the esophagus and Tumors in her stomach. She is going to the medical center in Houston so they can know how to proceed.

The staff were very nice and helpful! Check in process was easy and they guided you through the process all the way! I’m definitely satisfied with this experience!

Just completed a colonoscopy visit with Dr. Meah and staff. Although the preparation is never fun, the nursing, medical and administrative staff make the procedure and process as painless as possible. Even a nice follow-up call the next morning to see how I was doing made me feel secure in this overall process of health maintenance.

My experiencing this place was so Grand first of all when I walked into the receptionist there I had the most beautiful lady with a beautiful smile you knew her attitude was together she's a grand I didn't have to wait long she put me in the system I filled out my paperwork which I should have already done before I got here but I'm lazy about paperwork but everyone that I came in contact with the first staff to walk in the room before the doctor to take your vitals she was so beautiful warm and caring and we shared lady information and we just had a communication like we knew each other then after she left the doctor came right in he went straight to the point he told me with my situation was and the things that he was going to do as for us to doing my vitals and blood work and getting me right on the right track then after he greeted me for leaving another young lady with another nurse came in she took information and set me up an apartment to go and do blood work and I asked her a question about certain things and she gave me specific answers to straight to the point I love this building and I love my doctor a new beginning to me living life longer thank you your GI center

I have been a patient of Dr. Meah’s for about 11 years. He has always listened to me, answered my list of questions and strived to help figure out what was causing the issues that I was having years ago. He figured out the problem and he has continued to treat me and has helped to get me feeling better! I would recommend Dr. Meah’s office!

I will continue to recommend Dr. Meah and the Texas GI Center. I'm on my 26th year being a patient at the GI Center. Dr. Meah and his staff are great! They are very professional but definitely possess a caring personal side that makes you feel very comfortable. Dr. Meah is a people person and displays his caring attitude very highly. I still drive 200 miles to make my appointments and will continue to do so. Debra is still there and been there as long as I've been going. Long term employees speak favorably for Dr. Meah and the GI Center. I consider Dr. Meah a friend and will always highly recommend him and the Center.

Super disappointed after 10 years with this place. I have stuff going on medically, had an appointment for followup, the scheduler said I couldn't attend my appointment unless I paid 168 past due. I told her I was pretty sure I had cleared that up. She said I couldn't have my appointment until it was paid. So I never got to find out my results. That was special as I'm still throwing up everyday. I called the office manager and found that I did indeed NOT owe the money. Then in turn they tried to schedule me out for another 3 weeks. By this time, I had had it. The office manager was supposed to call me back. And did not. I went to GULF COAST GI. So far, their customer service is spectacular. I got in and now have help to figure out what's going on. In addition, the PA that did handle one of my last video apps was not great either, not sure what happened to the little Asian (No disrespect) PA, she was caring and knowledgable No access to the real doctors anymore.

A response from the "owner" was that it was financial, not medical. Yep you are right. However it's not a circumstance where I couldn't afford my treatment, not was I behind. It was the fact that the person who was mistakenly telling me that I owed money, refused to allow me to have my visit with my doctor. The customer service provided by office staff is super crucial to patients. The doctors at this location are superb-No complaints. But if the office staff treats you like garbage, well then- I'll take my business elsewhere. There was no follow up from the office staff to make this right, even after I reached out to the Office Manager who was showed concern that I was going through this situation and confirmed that I owed no money.

So. "owner", read your notes, re-read my review. There should have been some documentation with the office manager at the time. I was poorly treated by your office staff- NOT the doctor, over a billing MISTAKE and denied medical care. That IS a problem that you need to address in house. Accurate records and customer service should be part of your service. The amazing doctors can't do it all.

And again, not financial. I didn't owe you a dime at the time I had this appointment scheduled.

I have been with the lake Jackson GI center scense 2007they found out about several illnesses I've had in a quick way I've always been treated with respect an d have never had any trouble getting in to see them I have had 2scopes done and got my results in a timely matter there people are so nice and I always feel like they care about me I love Dr.meiha and will continue to use there clinic in the future thanks to all of you for making my experience so good
