Yummi Sushi & Grill reviews
10Happy Hour sushi is great! We went in for Lunch Today Nate our server made some great suggestions.
Great atmosphere, efficient, great service, delicious food. Takes customers feedback professionally, Ida served us well.
Service was great everyone very friendly. I ordered the Rainbow roll and seaweed salad and it was delicious
San Antonio has a lot of really good restaurants, but what I really love about Yummy is how sweet and kind the owner is. He really seems to take pride in his business and cares about even how you found Yummi. The teriyaki chicken is really good and we had a spicy roll (I cannot remember the name) that was really spicy (I use ghost pepper powder on everything to give you an idea). The pricing is really reasonable and the portions are large so keep that in mind that you'll have leftovers. There was low lighting and had a calm atmosphere, people were eating alone and working on their laptops as well. The owner also gave us hot tea in to go cups, which I really appreciated.
There is a rude Young Asian girl they're very trim and tall. Never says hello never has a smile on her face. I don't understand why they put her in the front. She has never said one word to me, I will look for another asian place to go to.
Waitress didn't know the menu food was subpar at best and overpriced. Not a good choice at least tonight
This is the place to get date night sushi in SanAntonio. Recently went with my girlfriend and had an amazing experience. Great good and amazing service. I definitely recommend the Las Vegas roll! 10/10 would recommend and we will be back!
Great sushi and it’s reasonably priced. Owner is very nice and the staff were friendly and attentive! Highly recommend!
Food is not great. We had several dishes and the flavor was mediocre at best. Sushi was also not great. Extremely expensive for subpar food. I gave four stars for service and atmosphere even though I didn’t dine in. The person who took my order and brought the food out seemed pleasant and welcoming. But I got everything to go. I am Japanese from Hawaii and this place pales in comparison to the worst dive in Hawaii.
Very friendly service but 20 minutes late for takeout order. Also way off on only sushi - just asked to sear and sushi was not seared… it’s a torch or a conversation “we couldn’t complete your order and take your online tip. ” The soft shell tempura was not fried with panko- if you’re ok with that it’s heavy breading and salty. Nice place inside and looks like some fun rolls.
