Zaatar Lebanese Grill reviews
15This place is really good. My family and I usually DoorDash it, and the food always arrives hot and fresh!
This food is DELICIOUS! The flavors are PERFECT! I usually order through door dash but. I went outside today so I stopped by. They make everything FRESH! The staff is AMAZING. I would post a picture but I ate it already!
This place gets 5 stars because anything I’ve ever tried here has been delicious I’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff is awesome! The food is amazing! The sweet tea isn’t too sweet. I love it here!
Fries portion was huge but they are frozen and stale. Terrible. Sharma is not Sharma but fajita steak. Cooks were cursing each other out during dinner. No sauces were included despite asking them to confirm. Hummus was fresh and flavorful so was the Tabule salad. Bread was fresh. Prices I don’t care about. Overall experience: I won’t be going back. Avoid.
Zaatar catered our wedding in November 2023. There were few things we cared more about for our wedding than the quality of the food. We knew we were taking a risk not going with a traditional wedding caterer but really wanted the food to be special and reflective of our favorite cuisine. We searched the San Antonio and Austin areas for months hoping to find a Lebanese restaurant that would cater to the unique needs of our event. It was not an easy search and we almost gave up until we found Zaatar. The staff and management at Zaatar went above and beyond to make our wedding food the star of the show and it was a joy to work with them along the way. 99% of the compliments about our wedding revolved around the food, just as we'd hoped for! The presentation and quality of food mixed with the efficiency and kindness of the event staff really blew us away. In fact, many of our guests said that they were too full to dance at our wedding because they couldn't stop eating. If you are a couple who prioritizes food and wants your wedding menu to really stand out, look no further than Zaatar. We can't thank them enough and will be back to eat at their restaurants for years to come.
The food is not the best. Pasha next door has more flavor and also has better prices. Will not return.
Idk if the people on these reviews are delulu or not but this place is lower than mid. I came here with my bf and were foodies. Service was so bad, the man in the picture was delaying our food and watching videos with this woman in the picture. He looked like it was a hassle to ask for our orders or to pay for our food. Food came out and the chicken AND beef shawarma was sooo salty! The man came out with naan soo late bc he “forgot” and the naan was incredibly undercooked. Do yourself a favor and go to pasha across the street for better food AND service.
Everything was amazing, so flavorful! The meat was so moist, cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, great amount of servings, beautifully packaged with care, great customer service as well! I’ll definitely come back!
Zaatar Grill catered a family wedding this weekend. We received rave reviews about the food from our guests, and they enjoyed the variety (especially the vegetarians). Bilal was great to work with and made sure everything went smoothly at the venue. I highly recommend them for catering or for dining.
First time to eat here, but not my last. I'm Texas born and raised, but I'm always open to trying something new and different. Date tea - very different and very rich in flavor. Couldn't drink more than one. Shawarma was excellent. Fresh salads. Garlic potatoes are to die for (they bring the heat). And freshly baked pita bread.yummy! We were there mid-afternoon, so it wasn't packed. Had excellent service. Friendly folks in all positions.
We went here for my husband's birthday and were really impressed by the food and the service. Everything was very fresh and the baklava was amazing. Highly recommend, we'll be coming here again!
First time trying this restaurant and it was amazing. I ordered chicken tawook bowl and beef shawarma plate. Pita bread was served also. Everything tasted great especially chicken was so tender and flavorful. Server was very nice and checked on my table often. I would visit again to try different menu.
The food was really good. Everything has great flavor and it feels fresh. Definitely I'm going to come back to eat.
Today I came and ordered takeout. The hummus had way too much oil on top. It spilled all over me in the car, and the pita bread was ice cold -not something you expect when you bite into it. The veggie bowl was way too minty and was also ice cold. I’m definitely disappointed and won’t be coming back. There were 4 dudes working in the kitchen…and it wasn’t busy…. They knew what they were doing.
Chicken was great, thought plates came w humus. I dont know if cuz went in drive thru but felt Chicken Tawook plate was better before and presentation.
