ZinkWerks, Lavon TX

Brought in my 1993 UrS4 to get a turbo kit/injector/ecu install done. Hardly anyone knows what my car is and even fewer would work on it. In my opinion this is a moderate modification to an old obscure car and I'm very impressed with how ZinkWerks handled it and their knowledge level. I can't think of a another place I'd bring it back to, not even the Audi Dealership. Tyler was great to deal with in person and through emails and kept me up to date and responded to all my questions. Big thanks to everyone that worked on my car and I'd recommend this shop to anyone who needs service/modification. In an industry where honest people/businesses seem incredibly rare, Zinkwerks is a gem.

A friend of mine at my office, who owns a vintage VW bug, told me about your company, after I had just experienced a major almost blown engine with my 2009 Passat. I was about to sale it at scrap, after having the vehicle towed to this shop, and speaking with Tyler about the issues. They completed the work in a very short time, at a good value and my vehicle is now running better than before the incident. I'm now about to have some break work done and again was very impressed with the details provided.

I was moving too fast but never the less they took Great care of my "A4" in such an awesome way thank you to all the guys down there and" THE GIRL" down there my wife enjoyed your conversion thanks for your help.

These guys know exactly the amount of work required to fix car, No unnecessary parts and labor, They think by putting themselves in customer's shoes. Brilliant! I now feel less worried with my used Audi Q5, I now know where to go for a reasonable repair

These guys know everything you need for German cars, and do high quality work at incredibly reasonable prices. Ever since I discovered this place it is the only place I take my Volkswagen for repairs of any type. I highly recommend them for any VW, or Audi repairs or maintenance needed!

They charged $975 to replace the alternator and put a belt on it.they said they have done by the end of the day.and it took them three days. DO NOT SEND IT HERE.

Awesome shop! I brought my S5 in for a flash tuning. They got my car in and out, they fully explained everything, and went over all of the benefits of the tune. They even offered to re-flash the car after I install a few more mods, to help my car re-learn the new modifications. After all was said and done, I walked out with a faster and better driving Audi, with a much more responsive throttle. They even hooked me up with a few window vinyl stickers.
I’d recommend them for any of your German vehicle tuning and service needs.

My B8 A4 had an issue with holding boost. Took it to Zinkwerks based off of high recommendations from the ACND group on Facebook and couldn't have been happier. Took them my car for a diagnostic, got a call back within a few hours to let me know that my internal waste gate had gone bad. Thankfully I had Warranty on the car so had the turbo replaced and they had me out the door without a hole in my wallet! Thank you Zinkwerks for the awesome service!

Steve, Tyler and his team at ZinkWerks are the kind of shop you strive to find. Focused, determined to please you, honest, attention to detail, and fair. They go out of their way to create an experience to keep you as a customer for life. They don’t play games and you can tell they LOVE what they do. Tyler took the lead on my car and had to do some troubleshooting on a upgraded throttle body. He stayed late trying to fix it and get the car done. Unfortunately it was a faulty unit and DOA, however he did everything in his power to make it right and keep me completely informed as to what he was doing. Even offered me a shop car to take home for the night since my car had to stay there. This will be my ONLY shop I take my Audi S4 to. 10 out of 5 stars! Thank you to the team at ZinkWerks, your passion and determination are a true driving force in the industry! Keep killing it out there!

The dealership wanted $3600 to fix the suspension. Zinkwerks did it for about half the cost. The vibration going down the road is gone, it doesn't thump when going over every imperfection in the road, and going down the highway, my 200,000 mile car feels like it did when it was brand new. Tyler and Steve did a great job.

Love this place. They handle all of my oil changes and power upgrades for both of my MK7’s. The dealership can keep there fancy waiting rooms and overpriced services.

I am very very careful about who touches my cars, but as far as it goes with Zinkwerks’s and the guys at Zinkwerks’s, the way they took there time and made sure everything was done perfect meant a lot! That is a rare thing now days, all the guys are very nice, the communication was on point and extremely knowledgeable as well. I had heard some negatives about what I wanted to do to my car but as soon as I talked to the mechanics at Zinkwerks’s I instantly felt at ease about my future projects. I highly recommend Zinkwerks’s for all automotive needs, thanks zinkwerks!

So. Zinkwerks is the ONLY place I recommend to take your VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group) car to for service and performance related work! No joke. Betty was in need of a new engine due to the dreaded B8 2.0T oil consumption issue. Steve is the man, though.he made suggestions on parts and stripped the engine down, machined the cylinders, new pistons/rods, bearings, and got her in top shape! Betty was BAD before going to Zinkwerks.no joke! But I'd heard so much about Steve Zink and his crew, that I knew his shop was the place to go. They replaced all my timing components too, and even caught a faulty wire in my driver side airbag I was unaware of! I had a number of other additions I wanted to make to my 2011 Audi A5, and Steve had expert suggestions and assured me he could handle the task, no sweat. After a few weeks, and some much needed patience on my end. Black Betty was back, and running stronger than ever! Thank you so much, Steve, for your attention to detail and diligence in making Black Betty a beast! ️
