Zipps Liquor Store, Arp TX

My favorite location. When walk in I get greeted immediately in a cheery upbeat voice and am always asked how I am doing. I have had questions about selections and they always have an answer or suggestion depending on what we have going on. I'm guilty of going close to closing sometimes and I love being reminded that after driving 40 minutes to come to this location of how many minutes I have before the register will "lock down" and I might have to leave empty handed. I didn't know that law until it we discussed it one evening and I try, but life happens sometimes and I cut it close. These peeps keep their store clean, are friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable - things that are great in your hometown liquor store. Suggestions being made based on what I buy the most are fantastic. Good employees are hard to find and keep in these times and I am thankful these have stayed the course. Great job ladies.

The lady who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. She even made sure that I knew that she couldn’t sell after the time frame stated in the law, which I didn’t know. She also helped me find a new drink to try and made sure I knew how to mix it and serve it correctly. Absolutely amazing service and knowledgeable as well. I definitely will be back. I hope the lady I believe her name was Susan will be there so I can learn another drink mix!

Great staff, really nice selection, good location for anyone from Chapel Hill! Great alternative to driving to Troup or Smith County line on Hwy 31 East

The two rudest ladies ever. We went in after work they were gonna close in 12 minutes we were grabbing Christmas gifts these ladies were so hateful and rude. I chose not to get the gifts etc there but my sister did. We were in from another state but my sis lives therewith definitely first and last trip EVER. Had to give a star to rate but it should've had negative.

The staff was very eager to assist and knowledgeable of all the brands! I highly recommend everyone visit this store at least once for the experience.

Only rating 1 star since I can’t do 0. The little girl working tonight was atrocious, as soon as I walked in she immediately told me I had 10 minutes until I had to leave. It was my first time visiting this liquor store and the experience left a horrible taste in my mouth the whole drive home. I do not plan to visit this chain of stores ever again. Absolutely Horrible customer service!

The lady working tonight sucked and even said she didn't care cause she been there since 9 am

The selection wasn't as large as I anticipated, but very friendly help, and handy carry out!

Mrs. Robin was so kind & helpful! She’s made a great environment here at this store. Her recommendation on a new tequila has became my favorite!

Robin is always so nice and helpful and she will even get you stuff that she don’t have there and they have good prices

Charlotte was so helpful! We were gift shopping and not sure what to get. She was so nice and offered to help us find something and she did! Loved our talk about books too!

I also wanted to leave a review for both Robin and Charlotte for our last visit about a month ago. They were just as helpful then and were so much fun to talk to!

This place is a gem. For a small store it is very well stocked with higher end products, and Robin was even able to order a couple of things which they don't normally carry. You can't ask for better, friendlier service.

P. S. - Prices are legit too!

Great place to go if your looking for cold brews and Charlotte was very informative and knowledgeable with all our questions and needs.

Charlotte is always great help and very friendly. Store stays stocked and the convenient location is a huge plus.
