I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Zubair Baig Mirza, a renowned diabetes specialist in Houston, TX, and I couldn't be more impressed. Dr. Mirza's expertise in diabetes care is truly remarkable. He demonstrated a deep understanding of my condition and tailored a comprehensive treatment plan just for me. His compassionate and patient-centered approach made me feel at ease throughout the process. I'm grateful to have found such a skilled and caring diabetes specialist in Houston, TX.

Do not go to this doctor, he will make your health worse. I work in healthcare and he is quite possibly the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He doesn't know anything about any new medications. His staff is unprofessional and rude. Honestly He should not be practicing anymore, I found another doctor that helped me regain my health. I suggest you find another doctor too.

The information below is incorrect I was seen one year ago and now that I have a better doctor and now that I am in better health I want to make sure no one else sees this doctor.

I wrote a review earlier today and instead of Zubair Mirza taking accountability he denied he saw me in clinic. To refresh your memory I was seen in Jan 2022. I’m surprised you don’t remember seeing me given the fact you called my previous physician today to ask my father why I was giving a review a year later. You clearly didn’t follow up on my health but you care now because you received a bad review. You need to be held accountable for your improper care you give to patients that can be seen in the numerous 1 star reviews, we as patients come to you and trust that you will give us a standard of care. Instead you say things like your new disease is you new years gift. You do not give the proper medications such as sensors and insulin. You think that you can get away by giving inadequate care to your patients just to take their money. Newsflash that is not how medicine works. You should be ashamed of yourself to call your self a physician.

Worst Dr I have ever met. Went in with my mom and this was her second visit with a follow up after blood work. He was rude and dismissive. Don't bother asking him a question cause your wasting your time. 150$ for a 5 min appointment where none of her questions were answered or any solutions. He does not care about his patients at all.

I asked too any questions and was dismissed Jan 2022. He was very rude Nov 2021 and made me cry. I now see a concerned physician who is helping me and hs LISTENS. And through his listening has found other issues I have. Dr Mirza is rudest doctor I know. I am 64 - never experienced anything like him. Glad I'm gone.

I called to become a patient to this office and I was asking questions about the doctor and his experiences in medical field. All I heard was that you need a referral to come see him. I was asking about doctor's credentials and she was going back to referral. I did tell her that I have referral, but she failed to even listen to what I am saying, this is sad. She is trained to ask for money only not patients health and condition. The Dr. Mirza should be embarrassed of his staff and his clinical practices.

Great Doctor. I’ve been seeing Dr. Mirza since I was diagnosed with T1D in October 2021 and haven’t had any issues.

I now have definitive proof that Dr Mirzas negligence led to a worsening of my thyroid condition. I have been calling Dr Mirza for weeks after he changed my medicine to tell him I felt horrible, and to no avail, no response, nothing! I showed up to his office and his staff didn't even realize they had a voicemail! I ended up in the ER, and my testing results came in. My hypothyroidism was out of control with tsh levels being double what they should be. Had he responded, been a responsive doctor, this could have been caught and saved me a worse condition. Beware and stay away from this office!

I might add, he called me and all I can say is his ego and inability to admit his own fault will probably seriously cause harm to a patients future if he doesn't start to actually care about his patients.

I recommend this clinic. The clinic is clean and seems to be well organized. Dr. Mirza is very professional and he answered all my questions. I specially liked his nurse Gabby because she made me feel comfortable and was not in a rush like some nurses are and made me feel cared for. Whenever I call them Gabby is quick to call me back. I have recommended this clinic to my friends and family.

This dr thought I asked too many questions. Some of my concerns he never addressed Nov 2021 he was so rude I cried and went to office Mgr at ummc. I could not tolerate the new diabetes med and during my Jan 2021 visit I told him - he was so livid he dismissed me. Never had any dr be so rude and dismissive - the office Mgr Keon told me I shouldn't have returned after the Nov visit. Clearly it was something about me he didn't like. If you can't answer a patients questions as a doctor you're in the wrong profession.
